    Arrow My SeoLinkPro Review (SLP)

Ok, I purchased the software like 7 weeks ago. I have done a complete test (I used a machine exclusively for it), tried all the plugins, asked in the forum, submitted tickets, talked to the developers... and here is my review: it sucks.

    Here is why:

1.- Seo Link Pro is developed for ultra-noob-users: you can't personalize a thing. It is a software for the "I want to do SEO but I don't know what a 301 is" market. So, it's pretty annoying when you figure out that you press "start" and that's it. Forget about the "fine tunning"... or any tunning at all.

2.- It's more than just buggy: the developing team says that they are fixing bugs. They aren't... they are fixing THE WHOLE software. It's SO buggy and SO alpha, that the current costumers are just beta testers... that paid for being one.

3.- It targets already spammed pages: yes, that's it. All the plugins spamm pages that have a well know vulnerability. So, when SeoLinkPro gets there, it posts your link in an already full of hundreds of links and "buy viagra" post.

4.- They are trying to be the next x-rummer, but for newbies: Ok, this sounds like the first one, but is lightly different. They are constantly asking how to make EASIER the setup of the plugins... OMG!!! they CAN'T be easier. But, the private forum is full of questions from people (50% of the customers) that have absolutely no idea of SEO (BH or WH). That's the market and strategy: make an easy to use, no advanced configuration needed, spamming tool. And you know the results of that:
    - a lot of newbies using it (so, a lot of spamm, a lot of patches and nofollow being added to the targets)
    - less and less options, so you setup your keywords, your anchor text and that's it.

A lot of people say that SLP needs more time. Maybe. But not a month or two... it needs like two years for being useful.

I does not worth the money. If you don't believe me, just purchase it and you will. But, first, read the reviews on this forum. I didn't and I regret.

Yeah, the thing that it sucks has been around from the launch and hasn't changed, and doesn't look like they are doing much to improve it. Long way to go to make it something similar to Xrummer . I don't think it will happen soon...

EXACTLY! Lot of promises, but the software is pretty much the same that it was when they released it (nothing). Xrummer competition? Yeah, right

well .... none forced you to buy a crap just '' to test '' it's called '' due diligence '' theoretically you always need to know what you buy , who's the seller , what other products he have and so on ... if you just love to hit '' buy now '' buttons then you deserve to spend money for nothing
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

The developed auto-pligg. And I made a mistake. The difference between me and y... I mean, and asshole, is that I don't have problems telling others about my experience so THEY HAVE MORE INFO to take their decision decision.

PS: and I'm not going to lose a week investigating. USD 300 it what I make in a day.

    Cheers!

    You are welcome.

I didn't know BHW forum. Well, I did, but I was not a user. I checked a few reviews (the conclusion was "it promises, but is still too buggy") and I said "ey, what the heck, I'm going to try it. It can be THAT bad that I can't recover the money I spent". Well... it is. I can't believe that they have the nerve to sell such a piece of crap.

I know the thing that gets me the most is that there are so many people over at the forums gushing over how awesome it is. Well Ive tested it for a couple of weeks and not seen a single link get indexed. Its just total crap lol.

I really hope you can get your money back from this as its almost criminal that they can sell something so shit.

Well newbies pay a lot. I am glad that it's so easy to use. I am not a noob though. I abused every software I used. So.

"Buggy" means that it does what is suppose to, but with some problems. SeoLinkPro is not "buggy", cause it doesn't work.

Erm Im not here to say who is right or wrong but have you guys actually checked it effectiveness? I have not really experienced many bugs with the software, that is not my issue with it.

My issue is that it is poor at gaining backlinks, it does everything in the background which is a real time saver but after trialling it out for a couple of weeks I don't even take the time to double click the icon for it to run in the background. I honestly feel it isn't worth the split second it takes to double click and especially not worth the few CPU cycles it takes to run.

My main suggestion to anyone thinking of buying the software I would urge them to try out a cracked version before laying down the cash whereas other softwares I would say don't hesitate just buy it. I could not think of a single type of user that would get value for money from this tool over anything else worthwhile.

Oh and Yicora where did you get the impression anything about SLP is WH? Automated link generation from second rate spammed to all hell websites is not slightly WH.

    How SLP Works ?

SLP is not like Xrumer , SLP send request and then shows posted don't wait for the reponse from the server .

there is alot of things being done in the new version . SLP just resleased from few weeks .

    autopligg / Xrumer / Bmd .

I read reviews but I know that it 'll be more better in future

Yes, that's what they say.. with every new release: "this is going to make some noise". Yea, the noise of your head against the keyboard

Look, maybe you see a future for Seo Link Pro... I don't. Cause the present is HORRIBLE. The links don't stick, they are posted on already spammed pages and they don't get indexed.

So, maybe, in a year or two, or three of maybe four... they give some value for the money that you are paying. But in the near future: no, they don't.

Sorry dude but the only worth in the software is the RSS submitter which can be bought for so much less its not funny. AP was great in its day, very awesome tool, sadly it was overused and as such most pligg sites are no longer worth bothering with, not all just most.

BMD is on a much higher level of usefulness than SLP as it actually results in a tangible increase in traffic and rankings, you can see the results with nearly every run.

Xrumer is on a different plain to BMD also as it can result in millions of backlinks in a relatively short amount of time.

The problem with SLP is not how good it is at ggetting backlinks, its reasonable at this, its just that the links it gets are not even sniffed at by SEs. That is the issue. If the only backlinks you want are totally spammy and on sites that have 1000s of other outgoing links then go for it with SLP.

I decided to fire it up just to get a list like this to show others the types of links you can expect from this thing. Check out some of the pages.

Obviously any tool like this will pick out pages that it didn't mean to (when searching some pages will have the footprint of a common CMS while not actually being part of that CMS) so I don't want to criticise it for this as its very common. however look at the sort of pages you will get links from, they aren't exactly high ranking reliable sites.

I sold my copy today to a guy on DP. I'm not planning to lose more time (time = money) on it.

I'm working with Xrumer as usual. Maybe in two years I visit them and see how are they doing.

is it run on windows 7
Yes, it does. I had it on a win7 machine.

    Hey Sume2,
Would you recommend Xrumer on sites that you want to keep alive for a long time or only use xrumer on short term sites ?

I NEVER use xrumer on money sites (at least, the ones that I want to last long). Some of my BH sites are still up, before like 1.000.000 backlinks with xrumer (more than 6 months ago), but some died with less than 100.000.

Xrumer is powerful, but like a chainsaw. You can use it to build a house, to destroy one or to cut your arm. Be careful and creative, but never reckless.

Im glad we dont have people trying to excuse its crapness in here anymore. I can only assume that those saying its anything other than a piece of crap have a vested interest in its success OR have absolutely no clue what they are talking about.

For the people that cannot just read what is written above....

It only gets links in terrible places like blogs that have 1000s of outbound links (worthless), posts to moderated blogs that would never accept such spammy links. There are very few settings so you cannot teach it to do anything useful. Despite what they say the plugin system is pointless and will never support anything worthwhile.

The price is incredibly high for such a tool, the owners are pricks, dont expect great support.

Earlier on this page I posted a report of the pages that I supposedly had gotten links from, I challenge you to find a SINGLE worthwhile link, just one not 10 not 5 but 1. Im also sorry if this sounds like Im a dick but if you do not know why none of those links are any good then you probably shouldn't be buying such software anyway.

I encourage anyone to disprove any of what I just wrote ( apart from the thing about the owners, I am aware that that is just my opinion and not a fact).

In short just save your money.

    Wow,

I am so glad for your honest review. I have been contemplating it for a while now. Now, I won't bother.

@Sume2, "Thanks" button coming your way buddy. It's refreshing to get a good review.

Anybody know where we can find a download link for the cracked version?

What's your opinion on SLP versus that new Link Farm Evolution (LFE) program? It also posts to Pligg sites and stuff and it's about the same price.

Also, can anybody compare LFE to Xrumer?

    Thanks.

There is but trust me, even a cracked version isn't worth the effort. I wasted a bit of time setting up a campaign and then after a few days when I saw what it was actually doing I decided to stop it from starting with Windows.

It isn't even worth the small amount of CPU time it uses it is that bad.

Thanks for this review. Saved me money and time. I've been looking for a tool that would take some of donkey work out of linkbuilding and hoped that SLP would do the job - clearly its not a contender.
    Are there any recommendations?

So it seems SLP is just a waste of ca$h, huh?

that's a bummer...and I was actually thinking of getting it after I got this email from Earl Grey 8 days ago...

We have come to realize we maybe launched SEOLINKPRO a little too early.
Some would say 6 months too early but we needed to just get it out there because if you are not careful you stay in development for years and keep adding bits.

When autopligg went out it had one simple job which was to hit pligg sites.

SEOLINKPRO was a bit different because its built to hit anywhere and everywhere to gain the maximum number of links.

Problem was we spent so long trying to get it to do everything we sort of ran out of time adding lots of link sources and thought the ones we added would be fine because they were working well for us.

The annoying thing was that software developers and anyone experienced were telling us how great it was because they saw what we had done.
The real bit i think i messed up on is the target market was newbs upto experieneced level and also just people that wanted links but we didn't realize they wouldn't understand the modular framework.

SEOLINKPRO is built as a framework to make it easy for us to add new link sources into it.
We don't expect to be launching another tool and we will keep adding more features to the framework because a lot of time and code went into getting it right.

What we are trying to avoid is the thing where the big marketers send you the latest and greatest software every week.
You know the ones for $169 or $199 and then next week they are telling you that their new tool is the future and beats them all if you just pay them again.

We launched to a blaze of bad publicity and whining everywhere because of a few ,,, um dozen bugs in the software but we needed to get it out there and used so we could continue.

Some people supported us and they are being rewarded by getting all the link sources first and a few other software bits that will never be available to the market so they are all going to be very happy.

That was where we were a few months ago so now i will tell you where we are right now.

We fixed the bugs in the system and stabilized the software.
We made it faster and easier to use.
We now do what we promised it will do in the first place.

    But here is the kicker.
We added some link sources that are getting peoples sites indexed in a matter of hours.
Someone even reported less than 20 minutes and we got some of our sites indexed in just under an hour.

One of the plug ins is so good it could have been released as a standalone tool and sold for $289 but we don't do that anymore because we just added it to the SEOLINKPRO framework for free like we do with the rest of the plug ins.

Autopligg was and is still awesome for Google but SEOLINKPRO is the bitch for Yahoo, bing and even Ask.
I always had problems with ranking in ask, even to the point just as my sites were coming up for expiry or renewal they would start getting indexed and ranked.
Thankfully we are now getting sites into ask within 2 to 3 days which gives a nice little source of highly converting traffic because of the newb surfers that use it.

SEOLINKPRO is a long term project of ours and will hopefully be the best and only software you will ever need for promoting your sites.
    Will this happen overnight? NO!
But if you just put your faith in us like you did with autopligg it will go from being a pretty decent link building tool to the only link building tool you need.
    ...it's too $hort baby, that mackin' a$$ P.I.M.P.

I think there's nothing to be curious of, they just jumped too early into too deep water with this software, bugs in such a large project can't be fixed in matter of weeks...they just don't have the resources.

I have noticed that it doesnt even seem to work AT ALL.

I checked several links that it says it posted in the status bar and when I view the page, my link is not to be found. I even tried viewing the source and searching for my link and nothing...nada!

So, not only are the links posted on crap pages, they actually arent even posted!
