I was just wondering if there was anybody in this forum that would be interested in making software for the Twitter marketers on this forum

I use twitter from time to time to spam affiliate links etc.

I have seen that most of my followers, are very much targeted followers (always a good thing) but a lot of them are following thousands and thousands of people.

So if I was to post my clickbank link, there is a very slight chance that anybody will actually see it, let alone click on the link, for this reason:

Because of the large amount of people that my followers are following, their 'wall?' or whatever twitter calls it, is getting new posts by the second. So to even see my link my followers would have to scroll way down to see my links (pages and pages) which I would doubt they would do.

[By the way, if you don't have a clue what I am talking about, and if you have a twitter account where you are following 1000's of people. Look at the last post then refresh your browser and it has vanished way down the line. Gone Forever!!]

So I was wondering if there was any way you could detect when your followers are online (% of followers online - logged in) thus giving you a clue as to when best to dump your links?
For example, the software would also be able to gather statistical data (exportable as an excel file) at user defined intervals (every hour or so) so that you could analyse your followers login patterns etc.

I don't know how you would do this tho. :o

Anyone interested in developing software like this? I remember reading a thread on this forum about somenbody offering a service to make software. This could be for you. This isn't a business proposal tho. But I think something like this would make a killing on DP or WF or even BHW esp.

Believe me if I knew how to write software I would be on this right now!
Twitrobot c0m is good but not exactly what i am looking for...

I'm just throwing this out there!

Im currently developing a somewhat "Twitter Desktop" that will have some blackhat tools. But the main problem is that twitter doesnt hold that much information about a person. And definitely not when they are online (Unless you monitor their tweets i guess).

What you need to be able to do is follow people who dont have thousands of friends (Hint : Im sticking this in my application :P), that way it wont follow down. Anyone with over 300 friends is on their to market their products. Try adding people MANUALLY for a few days and see the results when your adding people who you know will read your tweets.

Following people that don't have lots of friends might suggest that they don't use it that much. I do use twellow and twollo etc. Too much work though! And it is very hard to find these targeted people especially when you are marketing to profitable 'product' micro niches. Well this is just my experience I guess...
Cheers for the reply and best of luck developing that 'twitter desktop', i'll keep an eye out for it...

You could possibly post something when you see them post. That would get you close to when they were online, but other than that there's no real way to tell they're online.

Accctuualllyyy. This does already happen. You will see accounts sending tonnes of messages like,

@blah @someoneelse @someone Buy this!

And its because i just tweeted or something. And so they send an @ message at you.

And about the following less then 300. Nope. If you made a PERSONAL account, with just your friends, it would prob be less then 300.

Thanks for replies, guys. Does anybody have any other info to solve my problem. this could be a serious money printer.

So why not post your tweet every single minute lolz. you can use tweet later to do that..
