Default Anyone still writes for AC? How well are they paying now?

I haven't written for them in a while but anyone know how their pay now for articles are. I used to average around $6-7 an article a while ago but I believe that was before they were acquired by Y!.

I have been contemplating for awhile about pairing up with a few people and starting our own article website. We have a huge forum and know what more people would like to see in the area. I'm sure most of us can related on this due to the fact we used most of the article writing websites from demand studios, AC, textbroker and etc..

    Any information is much appreciated.

I write the occasional article for them, although they've been rebranded as Yahoo! Voices.

If I submit for upfront payment, I'd say the average offer is in the neighborhood of $4 to $5. Sometimes I see something on the assignment desk, and if these offer upfront payment then they're more on the order of $10 to $15.

As far as performance payments, I've got an aged account with Clout 10 that gets $2.00 CPM. Not the highest rate, but I'll happily take that for informative, non-commercial articles that wouldn't get much directly from AdSense.

I'm planning on giving AC another chance. Can anyone recommend a good grammar software/website? I don't mind paying; as the saying goes "it takes money to make money".

I have used grammarly in the past when I was writing for Demand Studios. Unfortunately their assignment list are currently empty.
