I am new to IM'ing and to BHW, and have been searching around a lot. Can somebody explain articles, and article creation to me, and any other lurkers?

Ptrick125. I am not sure of what you're asking. An article is content found on a website, and found in many forms: a news story (CNN, NYTimes, ETC), ezine, blog post (Google+, personal blogs), or page content. Article creation is just the act of creating an article. There are also many reasons to do it: to keep in touch with your fanbase, to generate content for SEO purposes, to answer a question, to convince someone to open up their wallet. If writing for SEO, optimizing the article for a keyword is wanted. That means having it or a synonym in the title, subheadings, bolded, italicized, etc. Avoid keyword stuffing. When writing articles, you want to aim for minimum keywords, in different niches it depends: sometimes 400 word articles suffice, others aim for 700+.
