Anyone ever write for article teller? If so how were they?

I registered on the site a few months back. There are hardly any articles to write anytime I log in.
Pay is not that great for new users. You are supposed to work your way up the rating system.
The higher you rate, the more you will be paid.

Unlike other websites, we do not make it easy for writers with little to no experience with article writing. We have large corporations that are using the site and they do not want their listings to be shown to just anyone.
We have over 20,000 articles being written at any given month, but most are sent directly to the higher level writers. When you are new to the site, you have to prove your writing skills and of course get clients.
All writers make a minumum of 81% of the total cost of the article.
All payments are done on the 25th or 05th of each month, via paypal.
Lightning Content Writing Service: Get Content for Less than a Dollar
Bumper Offer: $0.60 per 100 words and 48-72 hrs delivery.

The three sample writings are for the rating and the selection process. As a requester of articles you need to be at a minmum level before we will approve your application.
We do not charge a fee to come on board, which some companies charge a fee of $99 to get verified, we do not. We ask for three sample articles and that is all.
Any article that is submitted you no longer own. It is part of the terms and conditions on the site.
SEO Articles + Blog Posts + Web Content = Articleteller.com
Writers are manually reviewed before they can write for you, we only accept the best.
Use code BHW-36741362346886 to receive $4 towards your articles.

Seems like you have not read the website. We have FORTNIGHTLY PAYMENTS -- 25th and 05th of the month. ( this means we pay out more than once a month )
Seems to be perfectly fine for the thousands of writers that we have. Any professional writers get this and understand it.

Exactly... just like Iwriter.. I think writers are getting tired of the sites where they put in the research, work and overall ethics to provide a fantastic article only to have the client " reject" it but really they put it through a spinner, fufilled their end of the contract with the company by saying you weren't able to " meet their needs" and they get away with a couple of free articles.
Writers want to get paid and not wait a month for it unless it's worth it.
Textbroker - ( weekly)
Demand studios - ( Twice a week)
Writers Network - ( Bi weekly or weekly)
Triple Curve Media - pays $12 an article ( weekly payment)
Need an Article - ( weekly)
Out of the 800 companies I'm making a list of only 200 pay monthly, article teller and Iwriter are the two I DON'T recommend because the pay scale / process.
If you need three samples why not have the writer submit links that were previously published or have enough faith in your writer's ethics ( since you make them give you samples) to Guarantee them payment. If the client doesn't like the content then take the road of the other content providers and have an editor fix it.
I'm always leery of companies that have a " 80 % rejected rate" system where some of the clients who don't know what they want to give cloudy instructions get to dictate the direction of the content.
If you pay monthly then you should be paying $10 + revenue share like Gather.com
P.S. The standard of the internet should not define the standard of an ethical writing company. If you are the only two companies with that system, offering the lowest pay, the most obscure pay date then what makes you think your ethics will remain in business?
You'll never become a Demand Studios because last time I checked : The ethics of a real content / media company hired writers based on their portfolio or resume/ paid them more than $10 per article/ offered them flexible payment options and demanded the editors work with the writers to meet an extensive set of guidelines set forth by the client ( at which, the client was required to be very clear about what they wanted because all work would be created based on that premise, if they didn't like the content they would have only themselves to blame for not being clear but there were experienced marketing professionals in place to discuss what they needed)

Your response is laughable. So instead of charging $99 you asking for free samples. You do know that there are companies online that ask for samples and allow the writers to retain the rights to their work? NO WRITER SHOULD NOT WORK FOR FREE. Either pay for the samples or allow the writers to keep their work.

Professional writer here. Frequent seller on Constant-Content. How do you screen writers?

Nevermind. Three sample articles is ludicrous. You're disrespecting good writers with that; wasting our time and getting free work out of us.
Also, Why mention some scam company that charges $90? That's an obvious scam, so why would you even want to associate yourself with that? No legit content mill is going to charge writers for access. They're already in a bad position because they need writers who will write for next to nothing.
Your venture will fail, obviously.
