Best article writing course?
I'm a native English speaker, but I'm new to writing articles that are good enough for websites such as Associated Content and others.
What's the best ebook in the Downloads section that will teach me how to write the kind of articles people would want to buy?
Thanks in advance.

Honestly, if you want to learn how to write quality articles all you need to do is brush up on your grammar and do your research. An english class and an rss reader will do much more for you than an ebook.

Re: Best article writing course?
The guy is trying to get some help here, c'mon guys, isn't that why we all joined this forum, just keep searching it's not that hard to write articles if you're a native english speaker, write in your own words and make sure you integrate your keywords throughout the article, in the first paragraph and the last and then spread it in the middle, good luck.

Re: Best article writing course?
You shouldn't need an article writing course if you are a native speaker. Although some people sarcastically said "High School", it's actually pretty accurate. If you've written reports before for teachers, you know how to "write on demand". Have you tried to submit content and then been rejected?
Working for places like AC isn't really ideal to begin with. The best way to earn money with article writing is picking up clients who will actually pay what you're worth based on what they need (not just arbitrary content buyers).

Re: Best article writing course?
I find that the more research you do, the more your vocabulary will expand, the more you'll want to write. You'll know what to say after research and you'll know how to say it from paying attention to the way the research articles and books about a specific topic are written.

Read "Accidental Genius" by Mark Levy
Also there's a course called "Write A Book In 5 Days" by Steven Manning that's $297. If you sign up for his email at http://www.writeabooknow.com/, after 10 days you can buy his book. Also do his 5 minute writing exercise. Don't just read it, DO IT. Good stuff.
Both authors talk about turning off the inner critic and later going back to edit. If you're trying to write and edit at the same time, it's like driving with your brakes on.
If you're reasonably intelligent and have decent spelling/grammar, these two books (especially the second) will seriously jumpstart your writing. And no, I don't have the second one on hand, lost it.

Re: Best article writing course?
Rather than article writing course, what you need to focus more on is your writing style. Read the articles already prevailing on the Internet but you need to find some of the best sites because there are many websites who have nothing less than crap content. I am presuming that since you are a native English speaker, so your English would be above par. Polishing your grammar would also help. One word which I must add, applicable in every field.
PRACTICE
Practice makes perfect man.

ac wants and really likes unique articles. if you write about something that they don't have much information on, they will accept it.

Re: Best article writing course?
I am an article writer, and I have been doing it for a living for quite a few years already. Actually, you really don't need any tutorial or a reference guide. You just have to know that you are writing grammatically correct, and you are following your client's instructions carefully. One satisfied client will turn into a pool of recommendations.
You might want to consider some important factors as well:
1. Never copy from websites! Write uniquely.
2. If you are not confident with your grammar, get a good software to correct it.
Good luck!
