A couple of sites I am planning on submitting an application to requires a resume such as demand studios and a couple of other ones.

I been reading a couple of thread on BHW about resumes but never a direct answer. Does resumes even count when you have a great sample or two. Do they verify the information?

some recommended on the resume to fluff it up but isn't this kind of risky if they decide to check? How safe is this? What kind of things are they looking for ona resume? Thanks to all

Iv never applied for something like that because iv always worked with direct clients, but i can't imagine the resume being their main focus when accepting your application. I think if your samples are solid, and you state that you have a bit of experience, then i see no reason why they won't accept you!

A resume is a shorthand method for listing your skill sets, applications your comfortable with and a listing of your major customers. It's a starting point for a conversation with a possible employer who doesn't know you. Without it some employers won't begin the conversation. It's a good idea to have one and think about populating your resume with keywords.
