Default What is the best voice-to-text program out there? For 64 bit

Hi guys,

I have heard of Dragon Naturally Speaking and it is meant to be really good. I downloaded a copy a while ago but it did not work because i'm on Win 7 64 bit. I then found version 11 works for Win 7 / 64 bit, but unfortunately I cannot find where to download it - I have tried torrent sites.

Are there any other good ones out there that will work for 64 bit? Or perhaps someone know where to get DNS11?

Thank you,

I will rep

Win Vista and Win 7 both have built in speech recognition, though not as robust as DNS.

Give it a try it may work fine for what you need.

Thank you for that, i remember reading it somewhere but it completely skipped my mind. I will certainly look into it when I wake up (it's late here) but if anyone has any suggestions in the mean time, let me know too

I tried it sometime back but couldn't get a sentence right (may be because I'm an Indian and my english isn't flawless)

but if you speak english very clearly then I guess it could work for you.

You should check out torrents to get a working version for 64 bit.

I trained Dragon for about 20 minutes and it is all but flawless. I wouldn't trade my Dragon for any Dinosaur EVER. It's pretty much priceless.

Speech recognition came with office 2003. Although I am not a native English speaker, the results were very impressing. Now I know that it is much more better. Try Windows S-R as said before.

I'm also waiting to hear the answer to this. I use Dragon now and would love to find a better program as backup

Dragon Naturally Speaking supports 64 bit for about a year now. When I had Windows 7 64bit, I had dragon on it and it worked well.
