I wanted to know whether AC would approve articles during the Christmas to new year period. IF anyone can confirm the number of days AC staff would not be approving articles, that would be great

I'm sure aside from Christmas Day and New Year's they will have people working like most businesses will.

^^^ Spot on. They'll be reviewing throughout the holidays but will have have less staff available Christmas eve and New Years eve.

LOL yes they are in the christmas spirit and just approving everything as fast as possible

From what my AC source said, the editors are pushed hard to get everything reviewed asap throughout the holidays. They also tend to be a little more generous with the upfronts and tend to be a little less strict with rejections.

I've just started submitting articles. Was wondering is anyone could say what's the usual time frame for a article to get rejected/accepted? (AC does state about 1-2 weeks) I'm just wondering how long the articles would normally take?

It would take at least 5-7 days..

sometimes it took 4 days and review was a day extra
