I've just tried submitting an article to Ezine, however it told me that my anchor links were more than 3 words and so couldnt be submitted? This is a new one to me, i've submitted long tail keywords before in the author box with links to a site of mine but it seems 3 words is the max now?!

Anyone else noticed this?

Yeah, it's a major pain in the ass when you're trying to anchor text your longtail KW's with this new rule they have. I tried doing this as an example "MakeMoneyOnline" in order to try to turn 3 words into 1 and they still wouldn't take it.

It makes no sense for them to regulate this IMO. Anybody else have any ideas on why they would change it to only 3 words allowed?

Three words is only the max if your article is under 400 words. If your article is over 400 words, you can have up to five words of anchor text.

I'm always having to pad my articles up to 400 words, LOL

It's better to aim for 400 words anyway if you're aiming for a KW for Google.

True. I almost always seem to come out at somewhere between 380 and 399 words, so it's not exactly difficult to add the extra sentence. It's just kind of annoying to have to add some arbitrary words when I'm already at 396 words or so.

I think they have reduced the number of links that you can place in the bio box as well.. Haven't tried it but there was a thread that said that you can have only 1 link in the bio box, can anyone confirm that?

It's still two links in the resource box as far as I can tell from my articles submitted yesterday.

Ahhh thanks much for the clarification. I didn't realize they had a word count cutoff for the anchor text.

Cheers
