hello mates,
i have several PLR books biting dust on my hard disk so the thread is centred around that. Just want a quick help regarding if i can use it to put up on my website. The reason i am specifically asking it is that i acquired all of these articles from here and there (didn't actually buy them). Do you guys think i can ever be asked to provide the real owner the proof of buying those articles from their respective owners.
I know i can use them to write articles and submit to directories (being under the radar) but what if i want to use them for my own website.
thanks in advance.

As long as you rewrite them I don't see the problem. especially if they were sold as PLR. Most PLR content today is unfortunately a rewrite of other PLR lol. If you don't rewrite them then you are likely to get little benefit as you and a billion others probably have the same articles.

i get you point, leila. but what i asked was not about the uniwueness and others using the same plr. what i wanted to know was if it could pop up as a problem in future to use them on my website for not acquiring them legally as i can be reached quite easily if the article is found on my website (assuming you know about whois look-up.)
Thanks anyway for you time.

That is why I said to rewrite them because everything you can find on the net is rewritten stuff of someone else, in fact a lot of printed info is like that because there are only so many new discoveries every day. And I reiterate, if it was sold as PLR with full rights and u rewrite it, then it's doubtful anyone will come looking for you as they will have to prove it's their content in the first place. I commented on uniqueness as another positive to rewriting.

However if these are unique articles that you got off someone else's site and you want to post them as they are word for word, then you are most likely to get a call.

Yes, I do know about whois and about whoain't ;) LMAO

Yeah I have done this with ebooks before and rewriting does work, trust me.

You dont want to use coped content anyways...it defeats the purpose because it wont give you the results you are trying to get. In fact your site might get dumped to the back of the serps for not being unique.

lol...everyone seems to have the same landing page only in different colors and with different images. I for one see these pages and immediately hit my back button. And dont even get me started on using "Friend" in any sort of business dialouge on the net.

if its mkaing you money though....to each their own.

I despise those pages with a passion and what really amazes me is that they still all use the same format. People already associate those kind of pages with scams and BS but they still plod along in their belief that there are millions of people who will fall for the crap..

umm,, maybe there are many others like you who have put the PLR copies ( or few from the lot ) completely untouched/un worked copies directly uploaded into their website. And if you do the same, maybe G takes it as copied content and fcks us at rock bottom. -- Just a tangential thought;) !
