The AC forums

I haven't posted a whole lot here at BHW yet, but I really enjoy it here. I found this site via the AC forums by a post from one of those meddling SAHM's who seems to think she is the queen bee of writing (LOL!...and clearly spends more time on the forums than writing...ha ha).

While this is an "evil black hat" forum, I find it to be a much friendlier, informative, and helpful place than the AC forums. There's so much bickering, complaining, and complete nonsense on those forums--it makes me wonder if any of those people ever get any work done (judging by the infrequency of certain members' published AC articles, I think not).

I don't post on the AC forums but I do lurk. There's about 3 or 4 of these SAHMs that fight continuously and give such snarky advice to newbies. I made one post there when I was a newbie and got ripped to shreds that my stuff wasn't SEO-friendly. Yet, a few months later, I'm kicking these same people's ass in terms of PVs, and I have fewer articles published and I've been at ac a much shorter time.

This "non-SEO friendly" article now has about 7,000 views...not the best, but respectable for being published less than a year ago. My best PV articles I wrote naturally and let the kw's fall where they may.

Granted, they did have good advice keeping articles around 400-500 words (I was writing much lengthier articles as a newbie), and good title advice--I'll give them that

I don't know, I guess it just bugs me how rude and mean they are to newbies, like a new AC contributor knows nothing about writing and they're the be-it-all, end-all web writer extraordinaire. I don't get frustrated too easily, but I imagine there have been more than a few AC newbies who gave up after receiving a nasty note by these "fantastic" writers on the forums. I'd love to come back on that forum and throw egg on their face, but nahhh... Though it would be fun.

So I lurk instead and watch the fur fly. I'm honestly surprised that the AC forums aren't monitored more closely...there's a few individuals who are downright rude and insulting in 99% of their posts.

I couldn't agree with you more. Sometimes I have a rather hard time keeping my most recent meal down when I read over the AC forums. I've never seen a forum with so much condescending, one upsmanship and bickering tones in my life. I do get the occasional chuckle when they talk about me personally though.

I failed to mention that over-exposure to these people will turn you into a raging ball of fire wanting to hit back at their soft "under-bellies"... but this again is counter-productive, and has absolutely no effect on those blood-sucking mind-paralyzing parasites ... makes them still stronger. Just read the "Diagnostic Criteria" on that page:

Of course I have my deepest sympathy with the real patients and my sincere prayers for healing and happiness are for them, but this particular gang of burden-on-society on the specific forum are total exceptions.

You know...it really does describe the mentality very well. I won't name names but there are two of them who especially stand out as meeting every bit of that criteria. I picture them sitting in front of their monitor just waiting for the next post to be made so they can be first to correct/contradict the person posting.

One of them in particular must have zero content submitted over the last 6 months because of their burning desire to flap their gums and grandstand in that forum.

She is especially wild on BHatters. It's fun to read her bre*asts-beating fists-thumping posts though. She and one of her sidekicks give me some grin moments! Hmmmm looks like I missed the morning Jerry Springer forum show. I'll have to dash over to AC and tune in. I was one of those newbies that they tore to shreds. I'd be in almost tears and frantic I wouldn't make it as a freelance writer. Tah-Dah! I survived them and the freelance world! Ha, ha.

Several are a real trip because they don't have the quality, quantity or pv's to back their yap. They're like one of those tiny dogs that barks all the time when someone comes to visit and the shakes for 2 hours after the visitor leaves.

Although I must say, those dogs are a whole LOT cuter. Also, they actually make more SENSE than the SAHM's do on the AC forum. Ok.. I couldn't resist. Ha, ha.

Seriously, this is where your being a tough person (read: BHatter) works better. What'll happen if they suddenly get a million hits from differrent IPs (useless otherwise, of course) in one night, especially on the ads displayed on their article page? Would their accounts be flagged? What would happen if they get such hits every day? At least two or three deserve to get some high-voltage shocks of their lives in near future. No, I'm not talking about those cute dogs, of course.

P.S.: Call this a taste of their own medicine! They happily go hunting some poor fellow's adsense account, now they (the newbee-shredding-machines) will see boomrang in action! Hopefully, now their masters should tighten their noose!

I am sure there are 99.9% great peace-loving people on that forum who are just as angry at those "boss'-a$$es". I am not even half-bad as them either. But I read in horror when some of them said they did justice to themselves by spamming some people's google ads. For whatever wrong their targets did, their action was simply inhuman! It's like hanging a person, depriving him/her a chance of livelihood if he/she ever got on the right-track... for what? For simply reprinting articles? There are other effective means to get justice, but these people choose nothing less than the beheading! And they so proudly justify that!

Now if they are so inhuman to the co-members, then why not do a tit-for-tat, which is more than justified! If they don't want this, they better behave the 21st-Century way, or enjoy the X-WAHM status forever!

However, I think these women should be pitied because this is all they have in their lives, and they would rather slam others and attempt to destroy their businesses out of pure jealousy and the realization that they can never achieve anything that is even remotely similar.

Using Danny's submitter, I rarely login other than to chack stats and keep an eye on Darnell's (AC staff member) weekly updates for changes that may be upcoming. While I'm there I'll scan over the title's of some of the threads to see if BHW is mentioned also.

these two forums are literally worlds apart in terms on the way people think, lol, if people there realized some of the shit people here are doing to exploit AC, and other similar sites, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be slaving away to write the articles themselves for slave wages.

this reminds me, I need to hire a web assistant, outsourced worker, who is going to help me "get a bit more involved" in the AC forums, by posting a few posts and making comments every now and then on my various accounts

They do know exactly what we are up to. We make it no secret. They do lurk around here and even join up sometimes (one got booted off BHW by a mod not too long ago!).

They continue to slave because of "ethics", "professionalism", and because they believe AC loves them. They are proud of those little CP badges like a Kindergarten kid is proud of his golden star sticker.

I'm pretty sure a few gotten their hands on Red's ebook and Danny's AC submitter.

Besides, I prefer if they keep slaving away. I truly hope they will continue! Makes it easier for me to scrap their articles to rewrite for other sites.

@ madblacker - Yeah, they follow this forum closely and have for a long time. Check out my "Pirating my hard work" thread a few pages back in this subforum to see some of the fun that broke out a few months ago.

I'm one of those people that they decided to click fraud my Google adsense account. I had my primary website that was getting about $300 a month in Google money. I was stupid and posted a how-to on AC and a link to my site. Within a week, my account was banned with the standard Google click-fraud format letter. Then I didn't say anything about it on AC. BEFORE I even got the letter, I knew what was coming down the pike. A little 'team' of those forum posters each contacted me via AC PM and said I might want to start looking for new advertising on my site since Google was going to ban me. I had been 'reported'.

It was a true nightmare. BUT it made me realize I could do other work and other avenues. Still miss that $300 monthly and wonder what it'd be like today if I still had it.

I'm not writing this for pity. They're evil. They make no bones about it. They're form of 'justice' is insane.

They were mad because it was an article directory that writers automatically published their work. I had a team that helped me pull some content daily that wasn't appropriate. The little 'group' informed me that I was using hard-earned writer's work to build my article library without doing any writing myself and not offering pv money or anything in return. I offered an option to put in one link when you posted your article. So, they clicked the h*ll out of the ads and got me banned from Google.

Someone - most probably their top people - will definitely do something about it, and we are not to be blamed. Else someone will definitely read and use the remedy and cure the disease.

I just thought and said what can be really possible. Any person with the ability to think will think on the same exact lines. One of them should definitely go because they have hatched their plots against simple people and attacked their G accounts instead of going through the proper channels. Their targets were not even people who could defend themselves. -- Those who did should actually be kicked out by their bosses. I know how difficult the time is when you get that G ban-letter...

We definitely are a shitload more decent than anyone over there. If said people are reading this forum let me tell you a little fact of life -> AC makes at least $2,500 per year on every article that gets 100 k views over a year, I repeat AT LEAST. So, before you quack and talk shit without ever having been in a position to understand how these companies work (and yes I have as the managing director of a company with a $3 million annual turnover) I suggest you get a life and have a good hard bloody think of how you may find your ass banned by said company for causing trouble. Just think a little - with all the folks here contributing to AC - even just one person adding 10 articles a week - that's at least another $20k in their pocket. It's all about P&L statements and nothing to do with loyalty - they give you those idiotic badges because they know what suckers you are. Oh, and if your so damn good then why are you writing for $5 a pop?

Therefore, Senuke is armed and ready ...

Why go on a starvation week? We have sufficient backing here, and don't forget all those who have been on the receiving end! Also, no company cares anything apart from their partners -- loyalty means a load, but if some internal stupid worms are going to infest their profit garden, they are going to go after those termites FIRST. We don't care how they do it, but we definitely care about helpless people, whoever or wherever they are. Picnic is definitely over now. Angry people are definitely not going to take beating unnecessarily anymore. The thorns are just about to pierce the hard skins if they don't change positions quickly. Hopefully they have began changing in mind, but as usual it will be hard to implement. Let's watch them further.

Of course, they have been of nuisance value to all concerned, but somehow the authorities were too busy counting money and failed to visualize the end-results. Any way, let's give them a little more time. We have some more patience left in us obviously, but no one can wait till those kids get graduation! I am hopeful, for all concerned, that the site is lit like a Christmas tree this year's greatest day, and not like a wildfire.

I was never happy with AC, not because it's fetching me only about 20% or less of what I get on other site, but I need true friends to really function well. I was alone there, and on forum - these horrible creatures really destroyed all my appetite. Even if I ignored them, who would stop them from over-bossing me! I will tell you how great those people with whom I am working with really are! The boss is a great human being, we are great friends, and so are the rest of the team.

There was one incident some time ago, one forum member said some foul things about me, and before I logged in, the boss had him and the thread out of sight forever. As I had written some posts on the thread, I was surprised to see the thread being deleted... I googled the link and found the cache, and got the whole picture. That was about their forum, and the experience on their super blog where I spent so many beautiful days of my life was equally magnificent! They have always given me so much respect and love, always... it gave me an identity on the faceless internet. I'm happy to say that I have rediscovered UK! I'm associated now with two top authority sites in UK and am working with great friends there!

God has been really kind to me... I remember the day I left London in 1994, where I had worked as a s/w consultant, and having completed that project, I was on my return journey to NYC where my parent company was located. While I was waiting at the Heathrow, I vowed that I shall return to the lovely people of UK one day.

Well, internet has made that possible, and I am now working with 2 great UK-based companies in one of the best niches on the internet! Over these long years, those UK people haven't really changed! The new generation is equally kind and caring towards me! I come to BHW because I find the same kindness here and have some of the greatest human beings as my dear friends. Sadly, I never found the same feelings on AC.

I will not leave AC though. It too has become a part of me.

Anyway, I hope I haven't scared away my dear audience half-way through this rant!

P.S.: Now, don't talk to me like you'll are in a farewell party and I am the center-piece! I'm not leaving this place at all!

I'm taking a peak into AC forums and noticed a post labeled:

"Breaking news articles rules, some clarification?"

So basically it is saying AC will accept rewritten news articles from breaking news if you label where you got your information from. However, many times that isn't always the case.

I've seen some AC news articles without any source or simply stated "According to major news media", etc.

Some may throw in a few opinions (which doesn't make it completely news worthy to begin with).

How is this any different from what we do? When I rewrite an article I make sure to throw in some of my opinions and sometimes even link back to the person's article or product being spoken about.

Yet, our rewritten articles are crap?

Whatever. Those men and women over at AC are such hypocrites!

This is precisely the reason that I've decided to stay away from A*C. It the same ol' story... they treated me the same way... there was this major (real major) breaking news one day and I got it while the whole US was sleeping. I wrote about it in the finest way and added some 'history' about the person in news using mixed data from at least 4 other news sites IN MY OWN words. Of course I cited those sources. All I got was (after almost 30 hours!!!) the same cra*p -- old data, can be found on internet --- something of this sort!!

Come on, stupid A*C, I couldn't have reinvented the history of that person! All the NEWS channels were giving the same version about that person, I still managed an attractive yet totally different approach to the big story. Of course, A*C had absolutely no story on that breaking news -- I knew because I was watching for any new submissions on A*C every half hour or so for almost 4 hours or more.

I don't want to undergo that treatment again from those bas*ds. Then they asked me to go for 'display only' -- "breaking news!!!!"... after 30 or more hours!

And one thing to mention here... Handling Breaking NEWS is nothing new for me! I have worked for a major newspaper in their real 'rush-hour' department many many years ago (1987) -- handling (digital processing of incoming flashes from teleprinters) --- b-r-e-a-k-i-n-g n-e-w-s!!! Those ??"AC news editors"?? weren't even born then!

That's exactly why I don't submit "real news" stories to AC. It doesn't matter whether they're well written and researched, it's always 50/50 as to if they'll be accepted or not. Like I talk about in the book, "fake it" in order to "make it" lol.
