Default Where do you post your ads to find freelance writers?

Wondering if anyone wants to share info on this, I understand if not, well I am very familiar with the freelance websites used for programming as I hire programmers for things so I have posted ads for writers on odesk and getafreelancer. So far the response on odesk has been very poor, only a few applicants and the same on getafreelancer, although I did it as a trial project on getafreelancer so I will be doing it as a regular project too, just need to wait a few days as I don't want them to peg me for having multiple accts. I am planning to set up my own website soon and try to hire through this and use link building / social media methods to get traffic but I need to raise some funds before I can do this since I don't want to do this all myself (want to hire people )... anyways, just wondering if anyone has some good places they have posted ads for writers, like job boards, etc where they got a decent response

I had a good response from GAF, i found it helped when i capitalized the title and said ASAP at the end. also, dont ever choose a winner as that will close your project. and remember to give out your email in spaces and describe it so that you dont break the tos. i never tried elance yet but i heard some good things about them too.

Agree with GAF, had good luck there, have only posted article request not indicating the budget or price per article. Had plenty of responses within the first 24 hours.

did you post as a paying member or a free, trial project? I already have a paying acct but need to put in $2 more to post so I just tried it as a trial project first on a new acct

ahh, well I re-posted the ad on odesk under the section: administration < data entry and am now getting a lot of responses, I think not many people on there check the writing section so just a tip to post under data entry on there if you're looking for writers.
