are pple making big $$ from the views?

i'm trying to write about current, hot trend, type topics.....to see if i can get a ton of views...

but even then...1.50 per 1000 views

you're gonna have to have a hell of alot of views to get some good income

anybody seeing daily profits (doesn't have to be too big) from this?

I'm new to the 'game' as well, but it seems profitable given you can make upfront income + revenue based on clicks.

A lot more promising in comparison to various things I've seen.

Good Luck!

It's definitely worth it, if you have a hot topic. I made $30 alone on the pv's off of a hot display-only article I wrote. I didn't have time to wait for the "news" team to get to it.

All the better when your clout level is up there too. I'm getting an oct pv bonus in the hundreds of dollars.

^^^congrats HappyHolidays!

One thing to keep in mind tonlilaz is that the performance payments are a small part of what you're going after by promoting your page views. The higher your page views are, the higher your upfront offers will be. The whole point behind AC even giving upfronts for the articles is for the page views you draw. If you do nothing to promote your articles, AC will drop your upfront offers and eventually start declining everything you submit.

AC looks at your upfront offers as an "investment" in your ability to bring people to your articles (through the page views) and click the ads that surround each article.
