Default What do you all think of the memory training Niche..+ my product?

Back in the 1990s my associate's company, with help from federal grants did research on memory training and memory improvement. Based on the findings, software was later developed.

So I stepped in...I made it digital, put up a site, put some content up, did only a tiny bit of SEO so far. I wanted to know:

1) what you all think of the memory improvement niche, especially for 55+ year olds. Baby boomers, a growing market, one that doesn't seem to be focused on too much beyond health/life insurance.

2) opinions on my product page?

http://www.thememoryworks.com

I also got an affiliate system setup with e-junkie. I'm sure someone out there wants to make 50% on $80-$200 sales.

(am i supposed to put my link in a quote/code box or something?)

doing it with e-junkie, that is good. But if you do it with clickbank it might attract more affiliates. But then you might have to slash prices. But then you can make it recurring or a member only.
I know it might sound backing down on the price frontier, but hey the number of affiliates will just make upto it.
Btw is it like that of harrylorayne.com . well if so I have gone through it. it works if you work with it. especially for telephone numbers. But I am lazy enough to work with it.

no need to put link in code. all are via hiderefer.org , better if you omit the http or www.

your product page is good for shopping cart style. But you need to have a good sales page for your main product and then throw in some more in the order page.

I'm not really looking to attract a ton of affiliates. I'd like to find a way to market it best on my own...I'm only looking for input.

One thing we are doing is videos. My partner is much older than i am, in fact, he's baby boomer age, so it's perfect. We'll have a video on the main page really talking about the benefits of the program and how it was government sponsored and stuff. It's a great bonus imo. but we NEED the video, because i want to keep the site professional and not salesy.

and it's similar to that guy's program, most likely. the program DOES work. the testimonials are real and it's helped hundreds of people.

but yeah, i just want thoughts on what i've got here.

It looks like a good product and landing page, you just need to promote it and seo it. You can write articles that rank for keyword searches that would be looking for your product. "how to improve memory", "memory problems", ect... Do a search on this site for keyword optimization, linkwheels, bum marketing. You need to drive traffic to your site or no one will ever see it. I think you have a winner here.

word. been too busy trying to keep some income coming into me and haven't really had time to SEO it.

but yeah...still waiting on that video. i think it's coming soon. the site is still only getting 20-40 hits per day and that's residual traffic from another SEO'd site that we had around for much longer.

anyone want to promote it?
