Rakindo Developers Pvt Ltd has planned an investment of INR 6,000 crores (USD 1.5 billion) to come up with an integrated township project at Coimbatore-Palaghat road. Rakindo Developers is a joint venture company formed by RAKEEN, a global business company promoted by the government of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE and Chennai-based mineral conglomerate Trimex group.

Future Outlook

Coimbatore is emerging as an alternative IT/ITES and biotech destination mainly due to an ideal combination of good business infrastructure that includes telecom, power, quality of life, highly skilled work force, low cost of living, low pollution, rapid pace of infrastructure development and a pro-active government that is aggressively promoting the city.
