I'm going to sign up to the HostGator affiliate program, was just wondering if they ever phone after that?

If you are their existing customer then they don't. If you don't have any relation with HG before then they might call you to verify you.

They already phoned me before when I first signed up for their hosting plan, so I guess I should be fine then.

They did not phone me when I signed up for their Affiliate program but did when I signed up for their VPS. They have also asked for my ID.

If concerned, sign up with them to CJ or one of the other networks.

They never phoned

But it's saying I need to submit a W8 tax form, or is that only if your being payed via check.
