Affiliate Program for rap beats.

Hi, I'm Starborn Beats. I am a producer of rap/hiphop music. I am attempting to use a Wordpress plugin-based affiliate program to sell the tracks I have made. (usual price around $75-150 at the moment) I've sold a good number of these beats on my own, but let's face it... I'm no marketing guru. However, the amount I know about IM and cpa offers I learned from this forum alone... So why not ask for help from the community that supplied me with a basic foundation to my online presence? The website is starbornbeats . net - to join the affiliates program just click the respective link in the menu bar. The current commission is 8.8%. Is that an appropriate rate?

I am the owner of a music blog and I am the member of music beat affiliate programs and I do like your beats but I have to admit 8.8% is not much of an incentive for me to want to join your program. Especially when I haven't heard of your brand.

8.8% of $200 (Balance is $200) = $17.60
I'm signed up to affiliate programs that pay more than double AND they are more credible.


When you are first starting out you definitely do need to raise the percentage a bit just to entice more affiliate marketers. Also, try getting in touch with music blogs and maybe even offer bonuses if they make a certain amount of money or sales. Example: an affiliate makes 50 sales so you reward them with with say $50 extra or an increased affiliate percentage.

Also change your permalinks for SEO value. "page_id=352" does not cut it. Also you're not allowed to post links so yet so I'll post it.

what permalink structure would you recommend i use to optimize my site for seo, the regular "post title" option?
also, what percentage would you believe to be appropriate? 20%?

You're all good. Yeah, post title is good for SEO. 20% seems good.

Have you considered joining Clickbank to sell your beats? I think you should look into it. They have loads of stuff for beats so you know there is a large market but there is competition. Might be worth a look if you are struggling to find affiliates.
