amazonhunter anyone?
Hi;
I wonder if anyone has any success using amazonhunter and willing to share some info, tips?
it looks you can find items on amazon using this software with no amazon competition on google, but not easy to get into the google adword game with cheap click.
appreciate tips and tricks on using it, to see if it is really profitable.
thanks

Re: amazonhunter anyone?
i blew about $500 in PPC using it and only got an .80 commission. Not saying it couldn't work, but it doesn't work as easily as the ebook claims.

Do you have an ebook on it? Would you mind share it?

Re: amazonhunter anyone?
How about AmazonHunterPro desktop software?
hXXp://www.amazon*hunter*pro.com/
It looks impressive. Does anyone know AdWords Editor is bundled together with the AmazonHunterPro software?

Re: amazonhunter anyone?
I thought about doing AmazonHunter PPC but declined for the following reasons:
1) Amazon tracking IDs can't be generated dynamically - you have to create each one manually. This means you can't use tracking scripts that dynamically assign tracking IDs. What's worse, you only get about 1000 tracking IDs, so if you plan on having 10 keywords per campaign, with all 3 match types, that's about 33 campaigns max. Hardly worth it if you're only going to average $1 a day per campaign (selling a $100 product, one sale per week, $7 commission). Then what happens if you get losing campaigns and want to re-use the tracking IDs in your new campaign - the stats will be all screwed up, because Amazon in their infinite wisdom don't allow you to delete existing tracking IDs and replace them with new, fresh ones.
2) The Amazon cookie only lasts 24 hours or something ridiculous like that.
Seems to me like you'd have to spend a lot of time testing different products in order to find the right ones (just because a product is not being advertised on Adwords doesn't mean it'll automatically produce a positive ROI), so you still have to test, and if you're gonna do that then why promote Amazon products with a pathetic 24 hour cookie? Other merchants have 30 day cookies and more...

Re: amazonhunter anyone?
I downloaded Amazon Hunter a while ago - it displays some items you might be looking for and tells you whether there are any affiliates promoting it already or not, but I'm not sure how valid it is.
I've tried this with AdWords and didn't make a single sale, but I don't know. Maybe it might have worked if I spent more time learning about it.
Oh, and I think it would be quite hard to sell because it's expensive and the 4% or even 7%-8% amazon commission really doesn't look that attractive.

Re: amazonhunter anyone?
I am just doing some testing with amazonhunter 2 and l would never use it with ppc because of the restrictions and cookie limitations with amazon, but l have been building themed hubpages based on the most expensive items l could find in amazon and they have been producing a few affiliate sales but l guess if l started to produce even more then eventually they would bring in a decent income between them but l still feel that you have tohave loads of traffic to your pages to make it worthwhile as the cookies don't last very long.

Re: amazonhunter anyone?
How about writing/getting some to write a script to automatically generate hubpages based on any amazon product - the script could grab a review of the product using Amazon's API, create a hubpage with it and insert an affiliate link...

Re: amazonhunter anyone?
Here is an ebook I found detailing a method to make 14.000 Euro in two weeks using amazon hunter 2 with google adwords.

Just don't believe everything you read, results WILL vary based on your marketing skills and target audience.
