Well this is a pisser.

Just got a check from Copeac, and NO ONE wants to cash it. Not my bank, Wells Fargo, not Wal-Mart, not even a check cashing place. The numbers at the bottom aren’t that standard bar-code config, it’s just a bunch of numbers. When the banks put it through their readers, it can’t read the irregular numbers at the bottom of the check. There goes my holiday movie money. I’m just a little P.Oed right now. It's bad enough that I have to wait a week to get a check that should get to my by the 18-19th, now this.:COPEAC

they dont use micr ink on their checks? wow... what a POS

Sorry to hear this but in my country bank hold a check for 40 days to see is it ok or not... i have to wait 40 days before thay pay + arround 10 days for check to arrive!!!

they sent a email to me for same problem an have overnited a check . was just about to leave an deposit .they will fix it....and problems do happen sometimes

yragcom1 you should contact your manager and explain the situation. Maybe they will cut you another check or work out an agreement to pay by paypal. Who knows but I doubt they'll have it straightened out by Christmas.

I don't work with them enough for direct, and I make just enough to get net15 payments. I got my check the day after Christmas. Oh well, it's cool now.

They sent out an email that they sent out the wrong checks or something and where next daying em.

If you have a HSBC near where you live, register, they cash cheques much faster then any other bank i know! int cheques in 2 days here in the UK, the reason why is there an international bank!

call copeac and tell them wtf! And if they don't help you out then go to one of their headquarters with a glass-cutter and start stealing their windows! One window is worth like hundreds of bucks.I honestly did this once, though I did not sell it..
