Has anyone recieved there payment today or has there payment history updated?

I'm not from the US, so wondering if you get paid by cheque will payment history update or not until you cash the cheque?

I usually get paid gift card, but this is a lot bigger payment so was wondering if someone could shed some light on recieving cheques from amazon?
