Influence, Science and Practice, by Robert Cialdini.
It explains the scientific basis for so many aspects of human behavior, that you'll be able to understand a lot of things from it's roots, unlike the cookie-cutter techniques and formula approaches.
Trust me, this is a great book. I dare you to read it and not change your attitude and insight on a lot of things. Ideas will start pouring, and you'll apply what you learn into many things, not just selling.
