You and I are the only people without skype on our phones... in fact I don't have internet access at all on mine.

I just signed up on the site. I'm new to CPA and have been investigating various networks to start off right. I like what I've seen from this so I signed up.

Some constructive critisism that i'd like to spit out here, as an active affiliate which pumps out a decent volume, i'm always looking around for networks, contacts etc.

Don't feel the need to listen to this, just going to describe my (and i know for sure, MANY other's) opinion.

First thing i do is go to the company website and open the "contact us" page. No phonenumber? Bam end of story, there is no sane bigtime affiliate ever going to send bulk traffic to a network who cannot be contacted by phone, that is a fact.
I never got further than the contact page unfortunately.

This is just a general hint, not an insult, to me and many others it is insanely important that the network can be reached by phone instantly.

I'm not offended. Every time I've called an affiliate network though, I never got ahold of anyone. The first network I called, I literally called every single person in their company. (6) The second one I called, I called 5 different people and still didn't get ahold of anyone. Now, one of those networks isn't *that* exclusive. The other however, won't even talk to you if you don't make 100+ a day in CPA. So, I don't really put stock into phone numbers on the internet. Whether you're a big fish or not, people shouldn't be treated any less than anyone else. I personally spend more time with people who haven't earned a dime yet in CPA than I do with my $100+ a day guys.

I have been out of the IM world for a while but now that I do not have a job and am attending college, I want to focus.

Would you be willing to accept someone who has been out of the look for a while? (Maybe a year or two). I was with a network and have some experience but need to catch up. I see you offer educational advice which I am very happy about.

However, you may appreciate that a CPA company

• that has no number to call
• whose AM has a yahoo mail address rather than a Corporate address

is likely to raise suspects and criticism.

Not to be a hater, just saying that such reactions from affiliates are understandable.

Funny you say that as I got a call just the other day as my cell phone is tied to SA.

I answered it and talked to the fellow that called, solved his problem and we said good bye.

Folks, I fail to see why you take it so bad.

I happen to be one of the owners of the network and take calls on my personal cell phone and thus sharing why they should not be suspicious as to being able to contact me telephonically.

Any of you guys sending, or even thinking of sending fraud traffic

for any conversions you have made.

Just applied but it's Saturday. We'll see if anyone is monitoring the applications on the weekends. I have a Yahoo account that I listed and have used for IM, but haven't used Skype. As I told another BHer recently, I am an IT guy, it's not that I can't install it - that'd be a snap. It's that I honestly am not a big fan of installing a program that offers friends, family and possibly even strangers to interupt me without any consideration as to what I am doing at that moment... ya know? lol

You can set skype so you are not notified every time someone posts a message for you so you are not interrupted.

In any conversations you have open, just type /alertsoff and you won't get chirped all the time.

You'll not get the little yellow pop either.

I've got a question concerning the paying of commissions with Strongerads and other affiliate networks if someone can offer clarification and clarity I would appreciate it. Ok hypothetically speaking, if I were to start converting traffic I send to Strongerads tomorrow (Monday) and continued through the week, when would be the earliest that I would receive the commissions for that success?

Now, a more general question - I see where networks state they are net-7 and other say weekly or net-15 as opposed to bi-weekly etc... So there seems to be a distinction between "net-7" and "weekly" that I'm not understanding. Or between "net-15" and "bi-weekly"? I've even seen some that say they are net-5... can anyone point me to a thorough explanation of these terms? thanks all !
