Hey guys

iv been burned recently with an affiliate program i know the best thing to do is MOVE ON and take it as a loss

but i already know other affilates that are getting ripped off by these guys.

Is there a way to report an Affiliate Program? Or if not is there a some way to
get back at them some how lol

just really frustrated with ppl taking affiliates for a ride and not paying them

any tips or advise would be great

You can post up on RipoffReport, contact the BBB, or run an SEO smear campaign if you wanted but like you mentioned, you may be further ahead by just moving on.

If the leads you sent were legit and the network/affiliate program warrants it, especially if they're screwing over multiple pubs, I'd throw them on the shitlist here ay BHW just to warn others.

While these are great ideas to "get back" at the scum bags, I think you are better served by moving on, using that angst to make another affiliate company more money. This will hurt them and benefit you. The best revenge is living well. Wasting time, energy, and emotion on revenge is a real waste.

If the affiliate program is US based, I assign what they owe me to a collection agency and then move on. This way I am not waisting my time, and the collection agencies make their life a living hell.

Sure the collection agency keeps a chunk of the collected money, but I end up with more in my pocket each year and don't have to deal with each dead beat affiliate program.

If you live outside the US but the affiliate program is in the US, you can use an online collection agency.

Which company was it? You can try to take them to small claims court but it would probably be best to just move on to a network that pays without probs.

I hear so many people claiming that they got ripped off. Most of the time, they were doing something that was against the TOS of the affiliate program. Are you absolutely sure they ripped you off or are you just upset that they banned you? I can't understand why a company would want to lose affiliates that are bringing in money. I mean, doesn't that go against the purpose of getting affiliates to promote their program? Just to keep your affiliate earnings? Doesn't make for a good long term business plan. Unless it's some small player looking to make a quick score and disappear. Can you enlighten us a little more on what exactly happened?

I would go to affiliate manager house and kick his ass untill he pays. If you make him feel enough pain he will pay. Period.

It's the only way that I've proven 100% works.

I worked at an affiliate program, that didn't pay one of their top sellers. They went and made a facebook page with his name, and all of his wives/step-daughters photo. And proclaimed that he was banging his step daughter. And since he doesn't have facebook, it's the only one that appears when you search his name. In fact, it's the first thing when you google the guy's name.

the yahoo answers thing is brilliant.. I would pay someone to post the yahoo answers thing and pay some other people to answer with more bad experiences of not getting paid. I wonder how long till the YA listing outranks their company name?

Probably will think twice before screwing another affiliate.

Unfortunately this shit happens all the time, and half the time it is the pubs to blame..

either way if you are really pissed I would do the YA thing, or if you want to be reasonable... drop it and move on, unless it was a lot of money, then it's game on.

I'm having a similar problem with a company i'm affiliated with. Now it's only a matter of $200 but it's the principle. In my case i have done nothing wrong but the owner has obviously decided to move on to other things and can't be bothered paying any of his affiliates anymore. He tried to tell me that all of my last sales were refunded lol. I have never had a refund and my affiliate account still shows the sales as good. Furthermore, in the same sentence he offered me $100 for my troubles. I decided to accept the offer because i just wanna move on but now its been 2 weeks and i have not heard from him since.
These kind of people need to be seen for what they are. Dirty Crooks !!

Some don't care about what you say publicly.

If you want to join a network that says they like your traffic and emails you every day to get you to push the offer harder but then doesn't pay join Lazy Profits.
After being ignored for ages I decided to out them on WF and I got abuse saying "You shouldn't have gone so gung-ho and promoted so hard before payment". WTF? You told me to AND bumped up my payment.

LP owes me $1100 (I managed to get $329 of it). There's nothing I could do for the rest. It was well over a year ago.

Just always spread the word of their poor business ethics and move on.

Probably best thing to move on.

I was running to a very small network a while ago. They go under, disable their Hasoffers account and everything. KNEW they had the money to pay me, just wouldn't.

Luckily, the AM (also a co-owner) had a fairly unique name. Found him on Facebook, got my payment.

1.Report them to places suggested above
2. Smear campaign
3. Get on with your life if you dont have the time to do 1 and 2

Take it off your taxes as a loss and quit letting him rent space in your head......................but do the yahoo answers thing first.

As far as I can tell, you can only make some bad reviews that everybody can see and move on as everybody else.
