Is it ok if I cloak the Amazon links and put in in the description of my videos? I know a lot of people do that.
When signing up I remembered them asking me to put a website where I would want to promote Amazon products and is it necessary to have that Amazon ads on them? Will Amazon check? Are they strict to where traffic is coming from your affiliate links? Will they ban or refuse to pay in any case?

Thanks

I just put my youtube channel as my site. As for links, if I do anything to them I just use bit ly to make long links smaller (also prevents people from removing your aff id).

Definitely cloak the link or make sure the aff id is not visible so that you don't have it reported to Amazon, just to be on the safe side.

Always cloak the link with url shortener for FB or YT - because youtube is often not accepted by most companies

guys, what kind of cloaking are you talking about here? sending traffic to domain A and then referring it to Aff network B?

you can start to make it short your aff id link using bit.ly , simple just copy paste your url , and use your new bit.ly link for campaign
