So, is a content locker absolutely necessary for CPA marketing ?!

I have to admit, I've done a lot of researches about content lockers before posting and all is confused.

I still don't understand the whole thing.


In fact I want to do CPA marketing and as I don't know what a content locker really is,
I wanted to know if it was absolutely necessary, recommended or useless for this purpose.


I don't ask you explain me content locker system in details

A "yes" or "no" will be enough

Content lockers are one "field" of CPA marketing, they are used to promote incentive offers (where the visitor gets something in exchange for filling the offer) and you use the content locker with CPA offers before the visitor can get what you are promising

A different thing are for example Email/Zip "normal" offers you send the visitor he fills the info and that´s all, you don´t have to use any content locker to promote that CPA offers, or you are not supposed to...

It's not really necessary but it can be a starting point in CPA marketing. Some methods work really well with content lockers. HTH, GL.

Actually I thought it was a white hat technic, and also that it was something needed in "normal" CPA marketing.


I knew this kind of system existed but I didn't know the exact name,
and for good reasons because long time ago I decided to not use this technic, so ....

As rightly explained content lockers are not something mandatory, but that's another way to promote the offers.but content lockers become extremely useful when the visitors gonna get incentive after they complete the offer, like on some download site they'll convert the best.
