Default Multiple Clickbank ID's? is it allowed?

    Hey roomies,

    I'm starting article marketing...
I write good quality articles and link back to my site
    "author" pseudonym (me!)
anywhere between 500 to 750 words and completely unique
on the "up and up" the GOOD AUTHOR

    BUT

I also want to have a second CB id,the BAD evil AUTHOR and COMPLETELY
different "author with the same directory"

This way I can write other articles of "not so great time consuming to write content" maybe some spun stuff, including aff links in the article (redirects of course) and in case this second "author" pseudonym gets banned from the article directory, my other "author"(the "good one") won't get banned too

(I'm not talking about the directories allowance of "alternate author" or
different pen names, because say ones writes for different companies as a
reviewer or something similar, NO, instead I mean a totally diff loggin to the
directory so everything is kept separate)

I thought CB only allows you one ID?
is it possible??? or maybe I misunderstood his words?

but I came across the post (another forum) and the OP referenced his other
CB ID and the guy is "totally straight laced"

As far as I know, you can create as many accounts as you want.
Many people create different accounts for different products. By
doing that, they can track where the sales are coming from.

    Hope that helps.

yes wiz is correct. You can have several accounts. they even give you a discount on the second account. you just have to send them an email with your other account id.

Just open another account, like you have done the first one.
It does not have to have a connection.

Mind you clickbank even likes it as it prevents you to request a direct deposit.
I mean you have to have a threshold amount to get checks and then request deposit after you get consecutive 3 checks, etc.
So for that time period clickbank benefits from the bank interest on your money before releasing it.

So in a way clickbank benefits if you transact with more than one clickbank IDs.

If you have multiple accounts, get a master account so you can check your stats from one place: clickbank.com/master

    thanks raider,

I actually called CB today, spoke to one of their CS reps and he said
it was not a problem. Matter of fact he cited that most use it because they want to separate "this category of products" versus some other type of products to keep them separate...

it was an issue because I couldn't find and T&C's addressing it

so I'm dammn glad I called in!!

it's allowed although i think it shouldn't be allowed because the system can easily be abused.

Yep the way they have the system set up right now if you wanted to promote two different types of deals its hard to do under one account. so you can set up a new account

you know one thing I'll tell you that's good about it

I've heard or read lots of threads where people's sales
just "stop" one day and nothing has changed, ads are up
traffic continues at the same pace, but sales "stop cold"

so in that case I imagine (from what I've heard) if you create a new
account and then change your links and channel through the
new one, sales again start to come through!!

that is a horrible commentary on CB's analytics, but at least it gives
one an alternative to "totally being screwed"

I even read one thread a few days ago from I think it was 2008 or earlier
where the affiliate was finally contacted by CB and they explained they
were having problems, and that it "was now corrected!"

WELL I think the issues go a bit further in their system that
    just a "single fix"

anyway, food for thought! so go snack on it!
