I have a site around mma fighting that get about 1000 hits a day. I can not get anything to convert to make money with the site. I have tried ringtones, dating, adult friend finder, games, free gift cards for survey, passion.com and nothing converts worth a crap.

Some of the traffic is coming from Youtube, but a lot from search as well.

Can anyone offer some tips on affiliate programs that may convert. The traffic is probable male between 13 and 30.

What the hell dude? You have a MMA website and you're trying to sell ringtones and survey gift cards? Are you out of your mind, this is outrageous and pure nonsense! Your website attracts people interested in MMA so don't try to sell anything beyond that niche because you're going to fail.

It's like me trying to sell Anime movies on AJAX programming website, it's ridiculous. If you're visitiors are MMA fans try to sell them MMA related products and nothing else, period - MMA training videos, MMA shirts, fighting gear, proteins and nutritions...

Thank you for the tips on the MMA affiliate programs. Let me clarify a bit. The traffic is more coming to check out some cool fight videos some of which are mma, but some are just everyday fights caught on tape.

I do not feel the traffic is from actual MMA fighters, but more general traffic to check out some cool fight videos.

This is why I tried more general offers. Also I tried ad sense, but the click through is terrible (3%) and it is only averaging 3 cents a click. Not very many ads for this niche.

So does anyone else have any ideas on how to get this baby to convert on something?

There's more than direct marketing to the users. Try to implement some kind of newsletter & opt-in on the side which you would be continually able to market to forever (until they die or change e-mails).

You can also try..popunders..interstitials..CPM-based ads pretty much.

I think your Site must have Rank of Alexa about 1 000 000.
