Great post Olden!
Yah I mean setting up a real business only costs like 50-100 bucks, its real cheap. Then buy a domain and create a professional looking site real quick and you start to look like a real marketing company.
You don't really need to set up a business at all but it looks better in the eyes of the Network. It just makes sense though. Most of the people committing the fraud are just guys that register up, start filliing out fake info into offers, never communicate with their AM and then get banned.
Starting up an actual business takes literally 5 minutes to do. Hardest part is coming up with a name
But if you can't go that route here are some tips...
Create a nice looking website that is professional, no slang talk, no stupid pictures, just come off like you mean business.
After applying, call the company next day and get them to approve your account. Finally, stay in contact with your AM at least three times a week. Just shoot em an IM on AIM or something and ask them what offers are converting really well.
Most of the affiliates committing the fraud and getting banned are the ones who hide from their AM's. Not to mention over 90% of the people committing the fraud are individuals, not companies. If you are up front with them there is a huge chance they will come to you first if anything is amiss.
I've learned most of my knowledge on getting accepted to networks from Nevarc and it all works really well.
