Exclamation forget about plimus.com

I have posted this into a thread as answer, but i am so outraged about Plimus.com and want to warn anyone using them promoting affiliate products, as they cheat their affiliates big time.

I have heard that publishers are being happy using plimus (well for them it does not matter if affiliate sales are lost as they get the money for their product one way or the other). But it seems that PLIMUS is looking for ways to avoid paying affilaites out or at least as less as possible.

I am using a program called statsremote.com that I use to track all affilliate networks I am working with and it helps me to haven an overview what converts and what not and also i keeps a copy of all tracked sales.

Here is what happened with plimus:

I had 5 sales in the last period, all from one publisher 3 from product A and 2 from product B. All of a sudden one week later it showed I have only 2 sales.
The 3 sales from product A were completely gone. Not a refund or anything.
Just gone.

When i confronted them, I got told that the publisher "withdraw" the product from being paid out affiliate commissions and therefor I would not be paid for them. Too bad I know the publisher quite well. He did send me a screen shot with his admin settings showing that Product A was NOT WITHDRAWN.

Plimus did only say I have to deal with the publisher directly and that they cant do anything about it. HUH? THEY are the affiliate network. Next I was told to make sure to be "subscribed" to all products of a publisher or I would not be paid.

Nothing new with PLIMUS. You have to register every freaking product A-Z, if a publisher has 25 products you need register for all of them or would not receive any commission.

WELL DUH. I do use cookie stuffing to just make sure that all products are covered.

This is not the first time that PLIMUS has missing sales.

I took action and told them that they should pay out the pending affiliate sales and then close my account.

Here is what I got:

"Please be advised by this email, that your Plimus affiliate account has been closed as per your request.

As per the vendor
agreement, we will be withholding payment for up to 3 Months depending on the number of refund requests and chargeback's that may come in."

WTF??

The scripts I am selling have a 7 day money back guarantee and then
there are NO REFUNDS GIVEN.

Why do they need to hold back my payments for 3 months?

Go figure. They want to forget me about and so they dont have to pay.

BE WARNED!!

You how much did I lose? Below 300$. They still "might" pay the sales out, but its about their business behaviour, as they have poor support, do not respond to your requests at all and if I would not have used statsremote I would not even had proof against them as they only have a "24 Hour Live Feed" which shows credit card payments and traffic coming in on your account.

I would stay away from them. Unfortunately there are many affiliate networks like that that try to cheat you. The only way is to do your homework and share it with others.

The only "winners" are the publishers, so they are obviously not so eager to help you and assist you to fight against plimus. The guy I am working with is a black hat specialist and says he needs to use plimus as provider to sell his stuff but he had issues with them in poor support as well. It hurts him to get affiliates for promoting his products, but he does not want to change to work with them. HM?! Go figure. He is making the sales no matter what.

Wow, anything near $300 is enough to get upset about. I've had issues in the past with other affiliate company's, but it was for small change. Thanks for the heads up.

Plimus are real As*H***s

I just orders a product I found in the forums here using Plimus, they accepted the order took the money from card then email me to say the
order is refused and that I have to wait 30 days for a credit to my card.

The reason they refused it was that I had charged back a $35 payment 12 months ago for a product I was ripped off for over at DP forums. Plimus never delivered the product and refused to refund saying contact the vendor who had vanished into thin air so obviously I reversed the payment as I had not got a product and the vendor had done a runner.

Seems plimus love defrauding people imo and I would advise any customer or vendor to think twice before giving these jokers your card details or if a vendor before Plimus drive away all your customers.
