Grab a newspaper or magazine and go to the Free Keyword Tool of Adwords. Look at the advertisements and put in the tool all the related words you can think of.
This way you are having market which have for sure an audience, and digging for keywords with your own brain you could hit some good converting keywords, maybe without too much competition.
Ok, it's not the top notch method, but I had good ideas doing this.

Better off, buy a good keyword research tool that also crawls google's tools to make use of it.
A good tool will show you how much competition each keyword currently has, search volume of that keyword, how much adwords traffic that keyword is getting...etc. and will suggest other long tail keywords.
This is the best and easiest way. Problem is that to this date, there are only 2-3 keyword research tools that are reliable and accurate to a great extent. Rest are garbage.

As mentioned above, Google's keyword tool (KeywordToolExternal) is great. Just start with the general subject you;d like to target (gaming, real estate, tvs, etc.) and then keep drilling down via the tool to find out whats popular. Easy to start with one subject, and end up with a bunch of new keywords in varying topics by using it as a brainstorming session as you go.

There you go... add in the free keyword tools of google, but remember,,, google's tools are always almost incorrect when it comes to adwords. They sometimes try to mislead you into paying more.
I've found Market Samurai to be perfect for that, but I use a formula that involves both market samurai and google tools and make a decision based on that.
Basically you gather your keywords from MS, Google tools, MNF, WT and Keyword Spy. Market Samurai can access most of them, so with most of what we are looking for, it is kindda more than enough.

Outty, WT would be WordTracker

Re: Easiest Way To Find Low Competition Keyphrases?
Us Market Samurai. It's amazing, plus you can use the keyword research tool for free.

Re: Easiest Way To Find Low Competition Keyphrases?
problem is that none of the free tools are any good,
Its true that google's free keyword tool is
the best one of them but if you run a
quick comparison between the free one
And the one inside adwords you'll see the difference.
So the best thing to do is use the adwords tool and if you have MNF or SM all together.

grab a copy of imacros, and scrape google into a CSV for those keywords. it'll take some time if you have that many...but you'll have dead accurate results.

I've just answered that on another thread.
Go to Google Adwords tool. Remove check on "Use Synonyms". Click on Filter my results, put the check on "Don't show ideas for new keywords".
Select the keywords you have paste them all in upper text area, every keyword goes to new line. Click Get Keyword Ideas and than select "Exact Match".
Update: My bad you can check only up to 300 keyword at 1 time :-\

Can you please tell which steps I now need to take because this can be a very good idea to compare with the above post.
