I do not have a credit card and I have very little money in my checkings. If I use my debit card will adwords take out money daily/weekly/or monthly? I haven't put a payment type yet because I do not know how often they will charge me. Like if I put daily budget for like $5 and monthly $150 that means it's only going to take $150 right?

The AdWords Billing Cycle
Your credit card is charged based on your AdWords billing cycle. When you create and activate your account with a credit card, debit card, or direct debit, Google starts running your ads almost immediately. We then charge you every 30 days unless your advertising costs reach a certain threshold within your 30-day billing cycle.
We won't charge you before 30 days unless you earn US$50 worth of clicks or impressions, depending on whether you're running a CPC or CPM campaign. The first time your account reaches US$50 within 30 days, we'll charge you. Then, we'll let you accrue US$200 worth of clicks before charging you within the subsequent 30 days.
If you reach your US$200 limit within 30 days, Google will bill you and raise your billing threshold to US$350. Once you reach the US$350 threshold, you'll be billed again, and your threshold will be raised to US$500, the maximum allowed. Remember that the amount billed may be in excess of the threshold since ads will continue to run and generate charges between the time the billing cycle is triggered and the time the charge is completed.
The activation fee, along with any other advertising costs accrued, is charged to your credit card at the end of your first billing period.

but can you use prepaid credit cards?

Yes, i use a prepaid card from Money Mart.

Ditto on the prepaid card... I use one from Walmart... And the good thing is, I'm not worried that I'm going to overdraft my bank if I use my debit card, which I have done in the past. My bank, either in good faith, or to get the OD fees, happily pays Google, then charges me for any overdraft.

When your prepaid runs dry, your campaigns will be paused by Google, you simply login and add a different card.

yes..i am using prepaid credit card/debit card, google bill after using $50

so i owe google $57 even though my prepaid cc had $52 on it? I thought they charge at $50 then pause once you don't have enought

Yes, as far as I know a prepaid card will work fine.

Already use a prepaid card for a while. By the way why do you guys have autocharge on your cards?

I deposit all my funds manually. There are no "google bills".

i tried to do an adwords account with a pre-pay paypal card (uk) and it refused even though there was money in it...

fyi- you can't switch from a google post pay account to google prepay account. any visa/mc prepay card will work.
