Client Banned from ADWORDS and on Black List

Hey All,

So its the same old story i have a new client that wants to be advertising on google adwords but the moment i opened the account i got banned and hard. It says that any account or new account linked to that account will also get the banhammer. I've seen these sites around the web that claim they can get you unbanned but the quotes they gave me were semi-ridiculous.

Anyone know if there's a simple way to get unbanned from adwords for this client who doesn't even know how they got banned in the first place.

And if this is your specialty and the word "noob" isn't next to your profile image message me.

We just got done going through this crap for a client of ours. Same thing we would open a account and bam, the account was banned. Funny thing was my client never had a adwords account before. We wound up having to have them call into customer support and prove their identity. Your client maybe having the same issue. Our client found out someone else had gotten ahold of their info somehow. Good luck on this because it looks like a bunch of crap that your client is going to have to go through to get it fixed.
 
Wow, that sounds eerily like what's going on with my client. Did you just call support? Or another number? What did you open up with? What did they tell you? How long did it take to get unbanned?

Yeah we just called into support, and they asked up the name of our client etc, then I had to explain to them that are client never had a adwords acct before, they then had us fax info to them, license, card etc, after that we were good to go. I think the whole process took us 48hrs start to finish.
 
Did they say anything to you in regards to the account or site being on a blacklist?
 
Another thing is ask them if the domain itself has been banned for some reason. We had a client about a month ago, picked up a domain from godaddy auctions, that was banned already on adwords.

This time the site wasnt blacklisted, but we have had many customers with blacklisted domains before. We normally just use bitly for that and normally everything goes fine. If I was you, Id try bitly first, and see if your still getting banned right away.

This time it was just a identity issue with our client
 
You mean just use bit.ly for the ads destination urls?
 
Last question and holy shit has this been eye opening. What about display url and all that? And ad titles.

lol no problem man,

We use a madeup display name, url, and with ad titles It's never really gave us a issue. We just found as long as the destination url was out of site, we were good to go. Granted its not ironclad, but its a quick workaround.
 
Sounds too good to be true but i'm going to try it anyways!

setup a new llc and a new bank account it worked for a friend of mine
he called support and convinced them that the site has a new owner that will complie with their TOS
 
Update: So i opened the account put the bit.ly in place etc and today came in BANNED.

Fuck.
 
You adwords partner or not ?
if not, adwords will easy ban u if you login many adwords account with same ip
You use vcc + coupon ?
adwords will think you not valuable client.. try use avs to avoid adword detect you vcc
Banned using short url ?
bit.ly only mask your link.. adwords will know your url.. try use domain forward

PS : that's my experince with adwords..

ok now that I get your attention. I had the same problem my account got banned 2 years ago for running simular ads in multiple accounts. I spoke to adwords they said that suspention is perminent and that I will not be able to get my account back and that if I try to open a new account it will be banned rights away.

So I said fuck it..... I read somewhere that you can open a new account after 30 days and that it should be working. Iam a google engage mamber so creating new adwords accounts is very quick and easy for me. I opened up a new account and it works. ( I opened it ~3 days ago and used same billing info)

So what you need to do is...
1) call adwords and ask them wtf is going on.
2nd) if they refuse to lift the ban wait 30 days and open new account.

This Adwords thing has been very difficult for me whenever I call customer service they ask me to put in my customer Id and once I do they tell me that my account has been suspended. I do not know what to do. They say I have violated the google policy with my websites. Is there another way to function on line without google?
 
Yes, there's another way to function online without Google AdWords. Have your site appear higher (1-3 position) in organic search results and find other advertising partners (Microsoft/Yahoo, independent website operators). I'm not trying to be funny here. I was banned from Google AdWords some time ago. It turned out to be a good thing. More time to focus on building content, developing new software, and running the business. Rather than waste my time (and money) optimizing Google PPC.

It still bothers me that I was banned- maybe my pride was hurt. I carefully reviewed the Google TOS and contacted Google to learn more. After receiving minimal (no) help from Google, I moved on.

Eventually Google stock/business will be under pressure and they'll become more accommodating. Until that time- I'm not interested in Google AdWords.
 
there is only one way I found which worked, and believe me I had over 10 acc banned, burned, blacklisted whatever you call it. there is a company called ppc renegade and they have their unique service for helping customers get back on adwords due their great relationship with google, its a length process and not a 100% guarantee depending on what penalty you got, but belive me thats the only thing that worked for me and it comes from a guy who has some grey hairs because of this.
