    Angry My quality score sucks!

As you read maybe in the other thread, I'm completele fine at cloaking and so on.

But till the last months I have always the same problem.

My quality score is always at 3 or 4 / 10 and this sucks. At keywords, where is no competition.

I've already tried to put a lot of the keywords in my text and site but nothing helped.

    The CTR is also Ok.

Why the hell I get only such a low quality score and have to pay such big prices for no competition keywords?

    Thanks.

PS: Would also pay for someone, who is really experied at that and can bring me the big solution.

I have had similar issues like this in the past over stuffing the keyword in the ad copy and the site is not really going to help. You need to check the following according to Google:

    • Your keyword's past clickthrough rate (CTR): How often that keyword led to clicks on your ad
    • Your display URL's past CTR: How often you received clicks with your display URL
    • Your account history: The overall CTR of all the ads and keywords in your account
    • The quality of your landing page: How relevant, transparent, and easy-to-navigate your page is
    • Your keyword/ad relevance: How relevant your keyword is to your ads
    • Your keyword/search relevance: How relevant your keyword is to what a customer searches for
    • Geographic performance: How successful your account has been in the regions you're targeting
    • Your ad's performance on a site: How well your ad's been doing on this and similar sites (if you're targeting the Display Network)
    • Your targeted devices: How well your ads have been performing on different types of devices, like desktops/laptops, mobile devices, and tablets – you get different Quality Scores for different types of devices

Also make sure the keyword is not a trademark or something like that.

Google sandbagging you. It's a load of BS. Keywords that don't have any competition they automatically give the keyword a bad quality score because of "their historical data" for the keyword.

AKA, getting everyone to bid on the same keywords driving up cost.

If you have an account rep and you complain enough sometimes these keywords magically turn to 7's or 10's

Try to keep the relevancy between Your Keyword, Ad Text and Landing Page. This will pick your keywords towards high quality score.

Make sure that if a people searching for a keyword "Buy Pizza" want to see the ads which are speaking about "Buy Pizza" only.

Say, You are typing "Buy Pizza" and seeing ad for the recipe on Pizza will lead towards the low quality socre.

For search term "Buy Pizza", your ad text shall have "Buy Pizza and Get Delivery in Next 30 Minutes" can lead you towards the better ad position, good quality score and low bid price.

    Hope this helps.

How long have you been running the campaign, and on average how many clicks/how much do you spend on a daily basis?

If your keyword is "Internet Marketing" you have to create an ad something like this:

    Internet Marketing (Title)
The Secret Of Internet Marketing (first line)
Contact Us to get more information (Second line)
    www.myweb.com/internetmarketing (url visible)

Your quality score will increase to 7

    Good Luck!

You should stop focusing on the CTR and focus on eCPM. Your ROI will jump by 75% and up...

Well first check to see if the keyword is well relevant to the actual page there going to. If it's a type of product I like to take them to actual product in bound page rather than just the main site url. What also can help is how the landing page experience is to the user. What is the url you are sending them too? Usually more call to action is going to lead to better results. Sometime I even change my url structure accordingly to help with the relevancy.

Overall if the competition is low just put your normal budget for CPC. Your ctr shouldn't drop if the competition is low. Your ads can also affect the quality score. So be sure that the ad is relevant to the keyword also. Show me an example to further help. Thanks.
