This is my first ever time with Adwords. Yesterday, I created an Adwords account, entered a voucher and now my account balance has $100. I created a campaign yesterday. I can see the campaign under "All online campaigns". Campaign is "Enabled".

But so far ALL the stats are 0. I checked the "Ads" tab and I see that my ad status is "DISAPPROVED". I followed all their guidelines for ads so why it is disapproved? Can anyone help me getting it approved?

It should give you a reason that it is disapproved, from the link being wrong on the ad to the page not being in good standing. You can also contact Google for a free starter consultation as well.

They gave a disapproval reason "Site Policy". I looked everywhere but I couldn't find their site policies which my site was going against. If you know about Adwords, would you mind having a look at my site and tell me exactly what site policy I am violating?

I also got a disapproved ad notice for "User Safety" site policy. I submitted a contact form and haven't heard back yet. Hopefully later today they will tell me whats going on. But from previous experience, they are very vague and generally not very helpful.

Good luck!

I would call them and get a verification from them, or like the other person on here fill out the form for them to contact you. They can be very vague at this stuff, but sometimes they will give you insight.

What are you promoting/selling?

Be careful with your adwords campaign. Like adsense, adwords has a strict set of rules, of which if you break you may be banned forever.

adwords is always considerate.

please note *USER EXPERIENCE*

they don't want you to deceive users or give users difficulty in navigating within your website. I am currently testing a one page lander and see if i'll get approved. :-)

if you will be needing a voucher, I got one here for free ($100) :
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/adwords/436131-free-4x100-adwords-vouchers-fast.html

Please see their site policy page and if you think you have remedied the problem, send them and email and they usually answer you promptly in about 3 to 7 days.

I just got my ads running back last week when my account was DISABLED.

I got my ads running from a disabled adwords account, how much more with a DISAPPROVED ad?

good luck. :-)

I found it under LEGAL of their advertising policies, among other restricted products and services, they have included "health care and medicines".. my website is promoting a CLICKBANK fat loss product. Am I not allowed to promote fat loss products?

Depends on what you say, how you say it. See the misleading claims section of the policies. Also, the product cannot contain an ingredient on their restricted list such as ephedra. Other than that, yes you can promote a weight loss product.

It's hard to know exactly why your ad/landing page didn't satisfy their rules without knowing what your ad and landing pages say.

For example, you can't use medical or pharmaceutical words in your ad, and you can't make claims that you can't back up (words like "best" gets disapproved), etc. Direct linking to a CB affiliate link is also not allowed unless you clearly state that you're an affiliate in the ad, you can't put in a display URL that's significantly different from your actual landing URL, etc. etc.

What was the url you were linking to? Google can be very picky about where you are sending the clicks
