Consume competitors adwords daily budget
Is there any method to consume a competitors adwords daily budget?
I mean i want to consume my competitors daily budget, they have a budget of 100-300 usd to spend per day with an average click $ of .3-.6
any method or anyone who can do this with a botnet, i mean random clicks from random computers in a 24 hour timeframe so its not detected by google and it consumes most part of their daily budget?

This is pure evil. Lol.
Although, if my competitors started advertising on Google I'm sure I would grab at something like this with both hands.

Re: Consume competitors adwords daily budget
Well first, it's not very nice. Evil as previous poster said.
Second, it would not work. Google has mechanisms in place that check for this sort of thing. They are way ahead of you and you're not the first to think of that.
Third, if it did work, you would actually be helping your competitor out. You would be increasing their click rate which would increase their Quality Score. With a better QS, their ads will have better ranking for the same bid. They may actually have a lower CPC. This puts you further back having to bid more to overtake them.
So no matter what, you can't win. Best to put your resources in having a better campaign and beat them that way.

i think they'd probably catch on pretty easily that something's going on, and get in contact with google to see what's going on.
of course it'll be detectable if their clicks start going through the roof. and there's only a certain amount of "randomness" for that many clicks in a 24 hour period. won't look random at all.

Re: Consume competitors adwords daily budget
Well i'm interested in mostly 1 campaign that the cpc is quite low as i said atm .3-.6 (in the past it went up to 1.2-1.6 usd) and atm is raising again and i gues s it will hit 1 soon, the ctr for this product is REALLY low, even if u filter loads of negative keywords u will get a ctr of 5-10%, and ive been pulishing it for over 7 months, either way im ranked average 1.4-1.7 and got another account to double rank lets say this account is average 2.5, so i really want to take over the spots and reduce costs and take out loads of competitors
im sure it could be possible i mean u dont need to increase the ctr per se by giving more clicks, you could have a quite small-medium bnet amd double up the total search for the keywords and double the clicks for the competitors and give them the same ctr (of course mine would lower) but still their costs would end up raising,
the net could actually work really random
since you have a net of N countries and u let them search randomly in time ranges over 24 hours its all random, and lets put a list of 200-500 random keywords that will trigger the adds or a normalized list which would look up the most searched keyword, etc, so it might work.....
im sure theres some people doing this but might be quite shaddy, what i want to know is if anyone knows anyone doing something like this
if so pm me i would be quite interested on testing this and heading for some other campaing ive got with some cpc of 3-5 that would me amazing

Re: Consume competitors adwords daily budget
Well not necessarily click fraud, but just bid a few cents less than what they are bidding with your own ads.
You're going to push their bids to the maximum budget and it will burn out their daily budget fast. If the competitor has deep pockets it might take awhile though.
G will catch on with click fraud, I wouldn't risk it personally.

Sure. Download your account stats into a database and do some calculations on click rate and conversion rates too.
It wouldn't mean you are victim of click fraud, it may be normal ebb and flow and there could be other reasons. For example, I manage a campaign for a children's clothes store. One of the brands they sell is called Charlie Rocket. A few years back, a guy who I never heard of called Charlie Rocket died and for the next few days, impressions shot through the roof, I'm talking 10 impressions a day going up to the 1,000s. As the ad was not relevant there were few extra clicks so the CTR was way lower than normal and of course affected the QS. Lucky a bunch of those searches did not result in clicks costing my client. Lesson learned.
I've been managing client campaigns for six years and have never been aware of competitors engaging in this sort of activity. I think honest business people have better things to do. It's a legitimate concern but Google does all this for you so you don't have to. In fact, I say they overcompensate. I've seen sales made on keywords with no clicks and no spend. The only explanation is that Google figured a legitimate click was not and the visitor made a purchase. Now if only there was more of those.
