I spent days reading here on this forum about how to get back into adwords. Im pretty sure I read every post about the topic on this forum.

So I bought a dedicated IP from pureVPN and was told it was clean.

Created a new adwords account...

Went to hostgator to create a new hosting account...and Got this email from hostgator...

"It appears that you have signed up for an account through a data center server. As we do not accept these kinds of accounts, we ask that you please sign up using a your own IP address. "

After getting this email... I checked to see if the IP was blacklisted.

Sure enough it was.

Two questions...

1. Did hostgator find out because of the blacklist or another reason?

2. Should I assume my adwords account is fried and start over? I havnt started a campaign yet, just signed up (under the blacklisted IP).

I would greatly appreciate any advice on this

well, if an IP is blacklisted by a company, it doesn't necessarily mean that IP is blacklisted with other companies as well (you'll never know tho), you should have bought dedicated IP for this purpose not from VPN providers, but from respected proxy providers here

yaa get an dedicated i.p and try It will work fine

Normally you can tell if a person is using a corporate connection based ip or one he has obtained by a normal home based dsl connection. It has to do with the ip ranges. Try googling it and you will find how ips are allocated in the first place. It does not mean its a blacklist thing though that can happen to the ip in addition to being allocated to a corporate network.

Im not sure what to do at this point. I have dedicated so many hours and lost so much sleep over this.

This VPN is ran by a bunch of idiots. Their support is awful.

Anyone recommend a good VPN for getting back in adwords?
