I tried to put an Adwords campaign together for a Clickbank product, but Google didn't let it run.

Can anyone suggest a way of getting around this at all?

Thanks

The days of Adwords to Clickbank product seem to be over im afraid. Your best bet would be to send them to a landing page, or opt-in page, capture there details then send them to the clickbank offer via your affiliate link.

As above, or figure out how to cloak for Adwords so you show Adwords reviewers and Adsbot a nice info page, and you redirect your real surfers to the CB sales page.

Adwords seems to hate CB and I remember reading something where they specifically singled out CB as a home of shitty products on the internet. You can't blame them really.

I am pretty sure you have the code for this? ;)

You can't. You must follow all Adwords rules and guidelines, even if it's not your own site. Clickbank product pages don't follow these rules for the most part, especially the one about misleading and unrealistic claims. So choose carefully. Study the Adwords guidelines and study the offers you want to promote. If the page doesn't follow the rules, don't promote it.

you don't have any idea what you're talking about.

Second: The best thing would be cloacking, wich i don't have any idea how you could do it.

So you agree, at least at this time, that you can't get around it.

Cloaking what exactly? Do you know how Adwords works? Do you think Google hasn't thought about this before or that you can fool a bunch of smart people? They check these things. Besides, if the landing page does not conform to their policies, there's nothing you can do unless you make the page conform. I think it's you who don't know what you're talking about, respectfully.

A quick look around the serps shows that there are tons of people cloaking successfully on Adwords. It totally works if you're clever about it. I wouldn't have put it quite as bluntly as acotut, but stop drinking the Google Kool Aid.

can't link to clickbank directly.

provide an opt in with content and make sure your visitor stays on your site... that is adding value.

promote your affiliate link later on.

There's just no point in trying to trick google. They control your quality score which ultimately determines your CPC and conversions. This is the deciding factor on whether your campaign will work or not.
To all of you who are trying to find a way to direct link... JUST FOCUS THAT ATTENTION ON BUILDING A LEGIT WEBSITE & CAMPAIGN, WITH A GOOD QUALITY SCORE.
Why put so much effort into being lazy? Just channel your effort into something worthwhile.
