BHW is the only forum I visit often and today I completed 700 posts here.
Feels like an achievement to me.

So, to give back to the community, I'd offer my advice for free to general forum members.

I'd answer 25 poeple here.

Some conditions:

No Jr Vips and Above please, since you got the same offer a few days back. Its time for general forum.

No BH questions. I wont answer: How can I activate multiple voucher accounts or How can I bid on copyrighted keywords or How can I direct link my adwords destination URL to my affiliate link.

These are just examples. I reserve the right to decide whether I should answer the question or not.

Are there any particular posts or guides on bhw that helped you the most? I have yet to try adwords mostly because I fear blowing rediculous amounts of cash. I have read several tutorials but they seem to contradict eachother often. So if you can recommend your top whitehat tutorials/packages that helped you out the most. Thanks in advance!

The one I personally used in my initial days was the one by Brad Geddes. The book is names "Advanced Google Adwords"

Its 500+ page of content but you'd love it.

1. No I have not yet tried the local express ppc yet.

I am feeling lucky after seeing this thread. I am preparing for Google Adwords individual certification. I am having many questions. Let me clear all that with you.
*My intention behind taking certification is only to work for clients and earn some $$$.

1. I don't have much experience in Adwords just studying and running an Adwords campaign only on my site. Having $100 on it. Don't want to spend much for learning.
Only with theoretical experience can i get that certification.
2. After Fundamentals exam which one you advice me to write. (considering 0 experience). Most of them go for Search Advertising Advanced Exam. But if i do Display Advertising Advanced Exam or Reporting & Analysis Advanced Exam i can get more clients because of less competition.
3. As an individual do you think its easy to get clients for Adwords campaign.
4. After gaining certification our name will be listed under Adwords partners. Will that only fetch us clients.

What type of products do you promote via Adwords? Don't CPA offers or promoting ebooks (CB affiliate marketing) get your adwords account banned?

How many test ads do you set up per campaign? And how much do you spend on an average on each ad before deciding upon the winners.

If someone is just starting out in Adwords, how much budget would you suggest for their first campaign.

What softwares/services are essential for Adword success?

Hey mate!

1. To prepare your self, go to the google adwords help section and there you'll find a printable version of all the study material required for the exam. I had been through Brad Geddes book and then some experience with my own campaigns. Before appearing for the exam, I went through the course material on their website. Got a pdf out of it. Took around 2-3 to study and that was all.

You can't succeed in any sphere of life with just the theoretical knowledge. Practicals give you better understanding of what you've read. So. i'd suggest you to complete the theoretical part and then hop in for practice and you should be good.
2. I went for Search Advertising Advanced Exam. One thing you need to understand is that if there's more competition,then there's also more money to be made. Don't fear the competition. If you're good enough, you'll stand above others, no matter where you go.

3. Built up some rep and let people know that you know your stuff. You'll get clients.

4. Adwords certification will for sure increase your chances of getting hired as a consultant.

I mostly offer my service to clients only. They usually offer their own product on their website.

I do complete keyword research using adwords keyword tool then only setup the ad/campaign. After the campaign is setup, I daily analyse the Impressions,CTR, CPC and ad position, and then make the changes daily accordingly for a week or so. After a week the ad starts performing well for me. Budget really depends upon the keywords etc, still a trial account with $100 loaded should be enough to give you some idea of the campaign,

This is what I use and you can lose money if you don't know what you're doing. I wont suggest you to do this with your hard earned money.Use a voucher for that.

Thanks for answering my questions! I never thought of charging clients for running adword campaigns for them! Do you charge them in advance? Also do you charge them less or don't charge them if you don't hit the milestones?

So since CPA and promoting other people's products with their money is out of the question, looks like a beginner can't make money from Adwords if they don't own a product. Or am I missing something?

Nothing is hard in this world if you put sincere effort and you know the stuff.
Yes, you can make a landing page and then redirect it to the CPA offer but there's something more to it which you should understand. Think out of the box and you should be fine. No spoonfeeding for BH stuff here.

Your ad can be reviewed anytime after the approval.

If you are willing to take action, just set up a site in a niche where cpc would be low. Then promote the site using adwords instead of doing SEO. Show the business owners that you are on top of the results (search network ads are always above organic results). Get them signed up with a monthly membership and make money from them directly. Reinvest the money in SEO and minimize the advertising expenses.
Use a $100 adwords coupon and if you're using a keyword with low cpc, the $100 coupon should be enough.

that is theoretically possible but I am not yet able to setup a campaign which gives me $0.01 cpc, that too for US visitors. The charge of $1 per click could be of search network. Usually the cpc on search network is significantly higher than the display network.

In the open forum, I'd just suggest using the keywords relative to the main keyword where the keywords you add do not include the target ones but attract similar traffic.
