My site was going quite well and then I got this offer to try adwords voucher. Up and until then things were fine, then after using adwords, my site earnings zoomed up but once the budget got over, my site came down crashing thud, I am making mere cents now. I dont think panda is an issue because my content is original, well researched and fairly long above 600 word.

I again boosted the adwords budget with some earnings and then my earnings went high for some days and now it is next to nothing. I felt that I am being paranoid but on another forum, I saw someone telling the same thing.

I think when we use adwords and target one particular keyphrase, there is high ranking for that particular phrase and we get predominant traffic due to that. But once the budget goes down, the Panda thinks that it was spam traffic and the site comes under panda scanner and gets beaten. I am quite exasperated and am decided to leave this adsense/adwords thing for good

In other WebmasterWorld thread asks Google penalizes non-payers? Basically, the thread creator has a client that decided he did not want to continue his account AdWords with Google. So to cancel, instead of calling and paying off his bill, he decided to have Google cancel the bill due to non-payment. The thread creator makes it sound like this is a common way of canceling accounts, I certainly hope not (ok back on topic).
Soon after they have lost rankings for all their keywords, outside of entering in the domain name. The speculation is that Google AdWords non-payment has triggered the organic results to change for that site. Everything we are told from Google would say that this is impossible. Google AdWords and Google Web Search results are completely independent of each other. Is this possible?
Well, forum members certainly think so. One member says, "I can see Google automating a system that throws domains into the black list when bills go unpaid after so many days. Clever." An other member said, "Not paying a bill is a pretty clear indication of black-hattery and dubious value to end users." But one member suggests to tell the client to pay the bill and then see if the organic rankings improve.
What do I think? I think that it the clients non-payment has nothing to do with his rankings drop in the organic results. I think there is something else going on.

I do not know what exactly are you telling, but I think I had the same problem.
I used only coupons on one of my websites, and 3 months ago, GOogle closed all accounts etc... After 2 weeks my web site was down !!

Theoreticaly AdWOrds has nothing to do with Organic position...but now I use different domains.

Related to that domain, now is in top organic again, because I have change 40% of the content and site links, etc...

I've also noticed that - I simply cancelled my adwords for my main money site as it didn't make any financial sense any more (my traffic was almost 80% referrals) and my organic search dropped for about 2 weeks. I didn't have any unpaid balance.

After 2 weeks or so it was back on the top.

I don't think google would do that. if you "OWE" money in an adwords account, and google dropped your organic SEO rankings because of that i'm sure they would be liable for legal action if that was the case.

i have asked this q on webmastertool let us say what they say..they may defend but if u look at seo round table as well as webmasterworld, they say that after stopping ad words, their rankings downgraded

Anyway bro, I invested time, money, energy in two sites and I hate to see them crumbling...will changing site links and template do any good? or should i start a new site only..i feel like hitting myself for this bad decision..

it came back up immediately on its own..so i have to wait like 15 days for things to be normal?

I ran a quick campaign for a client with AdWords some time ago. The budget was $2000 for a month. My account was set to postpay and I went a bit over budget (for about $500). I've decided I wouldn't pay the difference. In about a year I didn't see any dramatic changes to the rankings, the site is steadily going up thanks to my other efforts. I did, however, get a letter from debt collector eventually, so I've paid.
