I got banned form Adwords

So my VPS (With 1&1 Internet) went down for a day, and because of that Google thought I was "Advertising a website with no content" which I kind of was, because the page wouldn't load *duh, the server was down*

But now I am banned and have no way to advertise on Google... Help!

My gosh, this forum's protection thing is really getting on my nerves. Anyway, here's my recommendation on what to do:

You should easily be able to fix this as long as you approach it the right way. To get back into AdWords, do the following:

1) Do not reply back to the email you were sent saying your account was banned. This is from their outsourced tech support who do not help you at all. Plus, all Google employees can and will leave notes in your account that all other employees read so if you do contact them via email they will leave a note telling other employees not to contact you back.

2) Use Google's online chat or call them at 1-866-2-Google. You will get a live rep in the USA and it will be much easier to explain what happened.
 
Here's the last part. For some reason I can't post detailed messages without BHW flagging me...grr

3) In the conversation state that you were not aware that your site was down until an hour or so before it was fixed (say something like once you were aware you had someone fix the issue). Also state that you are familiar with their "Advertising websites with no content policy" but since you didn't realize that your site was down until an hour before it went up you didn't have the time to turn off your ads. Now here's the important part, tell them that you have registered your site with Pingdom or another professional up time service to alert you via text and email if your website ever goes down again so you will not have this problem in the future. Then state that you are wanting to continue advertising using AdWords in the future and ask for a reconsideration.


If you do what I said above and you haven't already tried to email Google, then there is a 99% chance they will re-instate your account. Good luck.
 
I haven't tried to email them, and I do not think that calling them will work either... I guess I should have mentioned that the site is YouTube-Promos (Google it)...

Well, if that's the case then your site was most likely banned because it violates Google's Safety and Security Webmaster Guidelines policy. There would be nothing you can do to unban your site because Google doesn't allow advertising for sites that artificially inflate the popularity of social profiles.

Very rarely will Google tell you why your site was banned and most of the time they will use a vague excuse because they don't want their reps bombarded with re-review requests.

I should probably let you know that I'm a certified Google partner for AdWords, this way you know I'm not making this up.
 
simple create another account and use it brother,
there is no room to recover for banned accounts by google
so start a new account
 
Yeah, I got banned off of adwords a year ago but didn't notice until recently (I never checked adwords until I started using the keywords tool again). I called that number and they weren't helpful.

They said it originated 4+ years ago when I had promoted a website which I no longer own and that website now goes against their TOS. (it was completely redone and quite badly, at that).

I'd just delete the current account but its connected to every other damn google app/acc I have now. Sometimes their integration is a pain :|
 
Simply create another account . Dont wait for it to be unsuspended . Adsense really sucks
 
I was able to get my adwords back by changing the site just long enough until they rereviewed. It was simple just put 10 articles up.

but my normal site isnt really agains TOS
 
create new account with different billing details , it ll work...
 
That is a nonsene...why would you be interested in advertising a site with no content?!!!
 
I think there is always a chance. Contact Google and explain the problem, they will proably send you a letter with a link to their guidelines.. Make sure to read everything and that your websites doesn't violate any of the guidelines.. Then reply to them and say you have made all the changes. They will probably give you another shot. Happened to me too.
 
Go.ogle thinks him as a omnipotent shi.t. Thats really wrong. Don't worry mate. This time advertise with face.book and show that shi.t that someone else is also there who is as powerul as it.. :batman:
 
Is it unique,original content or PLR content? They told me to fill my site with more content.
