How does this page get top 3 on Adwords?

Do you guys have any ideas as to how this site,
my*colon*cleanse*story.blogspot.c0m gets a top 3 position for the keyword "colon cleanser", which is a core keyword.

The landing page is nothing special, does not even have "about us" or "contact us" pages. They didn't even buy the domain.

I'm thinking the page is a test to see if the market is worth pursuing. If there is traffic, then they will create a better landing page for better quality score. This is a page that would require bidding really high to show in the top 3 positions.

They may also be doing some cloaking or something but I do not think so because the display url screams amateur.

Any ideas?

I'm willing to bet it's a test campaign. Only way to know is to keep an eye on it for a couple of days to see if it sticks. If it does, then it's a money maker. If not, then it's a noob who just blew a wad of cash.

I'm thinking the same laptopdiva. I thought there was something I was missing.

Must be a noob. If you look at how many sponsors there are for this niche, then it's obvious there is money to be made, so why not set up the campaign correctly!

Your question is "How does this page get top 3 on Adwords?" if it is adwords then the person just paid the highest bid for the keyword.

Which top 3 positions is the blog holding? Seems like i cant find it in Google.

I did a search for "colon cleanser" and the ad is not showing anymore. I guess the advertiser figured there was no way they were going to make money with that page.

I wanted some feedback to make sure I was not missing something. The work I put into adwords is borderline crazy and I really know what I am doing. I realize this was probably a noob thinking you can slap a page together ,buy traffic and the cash pours in. NOT!!
