Why is this happening?

I found a really good product that I want to promote and it has an affiliate program. I searched on google to see if i could find anyone promoting it via adwords, and i found one. What i'm trying to promote is via plimus, not clickbank. So the url i want them to go to is a plimus url. When I checked the other ad I saw when searching specific keywords, the competitors page goes to plimus and redirects to the product landing page within 1 second or so.

I try starting a campaign with adwords using 7 keywords i'm targeting, and my ad keeps getting disapproved for "site policy" , so i guess its having something to do with "bridging domains" but i've seen my competitor do the same exact thing and it was approved. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

I need to look at your ad and the landing page to advice on this. It sure is possible to have this setup and going live on Adwords.

idk if i want to give you that information. All I can say is that i have 7 keywords, and at first i tried using my own site as a landing page with about 2 or 3 affiliate links. i had a home page and an about me page, which is 2 pages. the home page had tons of text that fully explained everything about the product, and talked about the disadvantages and advantages of the product, then a long 200 word conclusion.then i put a video at the bottom.

After i tried that and it was "disapproved" for "site policy", i tried actually linking it to the actual product page along with displaying the actual destination url at the bottom of the ad, and it still was disapproved. i just don't get it....

Sorry mate, wont be able to help you well then.

What I can advice is:-
1. Use a new account now.
2. Make a multiple page site opposed to one page lander.
3. Make sure that your destination URL is same as the display URL.

2. i have 2 pages - Home, and About Me page.

3. I have tried this and it says my pages are not good enough of quality.

Any more suggestions?

well fuck me, i guess i can't do anything now. google has suspended my adwords account permanently for the most idiotic reason i've ever seen.

any ideas on how to get a new account?

I think your missing something that you stated in the beginning (site policy). Do you have a "Privacy Policy" page on your site ? That is one of the things G is looking for.

Fix that and submit a ticket for reconsideration.

Privacy policy page is indeed one of the important issues that might lead to low landing page quality score. However, another point to ponder upon is that OP is promoting an affiliate offer.

Big G by default is adverse towards advertisers trying to make money via affiliate offers. I am afraid much more than privacy policy and other such pages would be needed to ensure that account runs smoothly.

Even after suggested tweaks there is 80% chance that the account might get stalled. The trick is to have backup accounts ready and if one goes down, another one must come up. Now it all boils down the fact if OP is still going to profit given that with every new accounts comes a challenge of capitalizing on initial soaring CPC rates.
