I'm sad
Everytime I test an Adsense campaign and it doesn't work, I'm always super disappointed.
Does that feeling ever go away? Can I do anything about it?

Re: I'm sad
That would depend what isn't working. The ad itself, you getting no impressions, your ads not converting....
Little more detail

Re: I'm sad
Is the traffic source crappy? is it SEO traffic or bought?
Adsense looks at the referer and if it's bought traffic on their list of sites then they kill your per click payout.

Hey, here's an idea. Don't test Adsense campaigns any more.
Your Welcome!
That will be $10.

Re: I'm sad
Put a niche related CPA banner on the site. Probably will pay more if it converts anyways.

Re: I'm sad
Well sometimes it doesn't convert. Sometimes I don't get any impressions, Sometimes I get impression but no CTR.
I see other people in the same situation of horrid sadness. We should create a support group. Like compulsive gamblers, people trying to lose weight and mothers fighting for the right to breastfeed in public.

Why are you even wasting time with Adcents? G00gle is making money from you.

Fuck I was actually talking about Adwords Campaigns. I made a typo and meant to say Adwords not Adsense.
I agree Adsense is crap.

Ah, that explains it. Don't worry, that stuff happens to me frequently, I'm thinking about one thing and post another.

Re: I'm sad
I'm never saddened by a failure. I'm sad because I don't have time and money to fail more often.
Remember, you aren't actually failing, you're just being very successful out finding out what doesn't work so that you don't do it again later.

Re: I'm sad
I don't mean any offense by this, but perhaps you should do a bit more studying on the adwords game. It's a learning process for sure. You're getting your feet wet, but you may drown in the process. There are some decent books out there.
