the ctr depend on many factors.
from my experience ctr of 4-5 its what you need to achieve at least

its also depend on how competing your niche and how competitors bids on the same keywords, position 1-3 get the most clicks.

try to do the follow and you should get a good ctr ( again its depend on which position you can be able to pay for without losing money)

1. try to use a small and super targated keywords in each adgrup.

2. for each adgrupe write a super targated ad buy using the main keyword on the headline, ad text and url ( for url you can create subdomain for each main keyword on the adgroup)

3. use Dynamic Keyword Insertion on the headline and also on the ad text if you can.

4.after you start to get some clicks remove the keywords with low ctr and keep the good once.

5. always try to write 2 ads for each adgrup and run them at the same time, after you will get some clicks remove the ad with the low ctr and write new one ( you can make minor change on the ad every time ) until you get the perfect ad that bring you the best ctr.

6.this is the must important rule : always try to be super targated on what the visitor search for.even if you have keyword that cant be add to any adgrups ,write for here a new ad.

about your question about keyword ctr : again ,sometimes you will find keywords that get even 10-50% ctr , if you see that after example 20 clicks for each keyword leave them and move the others to a new one ,in this way you keep the high ctr for this ad.

about the question about keyword perform well , i dont understand what you mean - about the ctr or if its convert to sale. in my answer i will refer to ctr :

after i was doing all i mention above , if i would see after max 20 clicks that a keyword not get a click i was move here to a new super targated ad or not use it at this time.

i hope this help

thanks

i keep all my adwords accounts at a minimum of 1% a day, then i check and see per campaign/per adgroup usually my great performers are 3% and then you'll have the odd super targeted 55%ctr canceling out the super searched unclicked .10% clicks.

see this question is too broad. It depends on what position your ad is in. If your ad is in 1st position, .65 % is terrible and your bids will quickly rise. If its in 12th position and gets .65% thats not too bad

If you have that low of a CTR you need to test ad copy or select different keywords. If you let low CTR keywords like that run for too long you will start to lower your account's Quality Score.
