Quality Score
Does anyone know how to improve the quality score for keywords such as American Airlines, General Motors, HP? I can't manage to get a good score, my minimum bid is $10 Thank you!

Re: Quality Score
have you had a bad CTR history with those keywords?
Does your ad copy include your keyword?
Does your domain name include your keyword?
Does your page headers contain your keyword?
Does your page have alot of content?
First thing to usually do is get another domain and see what it comes up as. Then go from there

Re: Quality Score
Are there any landing page creator softwares that you would recommend, that are easy to use and will allow me to optimize my landing pages for certain keywords? I am not into design or anything, I am just a marketing brain so that's why I am asking Thank you very much.

I can use goo*gle page creator and get a better qs than most people it's just the way the page is structured that matters. Otherwise I use dreamweaver and notepad for almost all my site/LP creation.
Checkout adwords edge template at blackhatzen if you want a out of the box template but you are still going to need a wysiwyg editor of some sort if you can't edit code by hand.

Re: Quality Score
have you had a bad CTR history with those keywords? No just started the campaign
Does your ad copy include your keyword? yes
Does your domain name include your keyword? yes
Does your page headers contain your keyword? yes
Does your page have alot of content? no
I have a keyword that has tens of thousands of searches on google daily and basically has no competition. But my quality score is killing me. I've never had to design a page and always direct linked without a problem. But this time I will have to figure out how to make a landing page with at least a good quality score. Any suggestion is appreciated. I bought that adwords edge but I am clueless what to do with it. Thanks

Re: Quality Score
Bidding on trademarks can be hazardous to your affiliate account. Some merchants allow it; some don't. You need to check each merchant's TOS to be sure.
I had an Amazon account with a nice balance canceled because I bid on the keyword "Amazon Kindle". I neglected to check the affiliate TOS. Obviously, Amazon does not allow bidding on their trademark (Yahoo ratted me out.)

Re: Quality Score
some keywords are just flagged to impossibility.
don't believe me?
make a throw away campaign willing to spend 10bucks pick a super popular keyword that isn't going to be flagged by google(i.e. ipod) make a direct link to that that website (i.e. if your using ipod direct link it to apple.com)
what does this show? it'll show you that no matter how good the keyword is(make it exact and put actions it it like, buy ipod) and no matter how good your domain is(it's the company's website) and if you make perfect great adcopy and you know your account isn't crap, then you'll know some keywords are just flagged to impossible ctr.
