Default Click Fraud Prevention?

I was just wondering something..

What's stopping competitors from simply clicking your ad a shitload of times and screwing over your campaign? Does Google block repeat-IP addresses from counting as a click?

Just asked something similar earlier.. My thread is just below yours.

Bottom line, you have to do it on your own. Use tracking to figure out which IPs are repeated more than usual and put those IPs in the "IP blocking" area in adwords. They won't see your ad.

Trying to figure out how to deal with the stubborn ones who use random proxies and such.

google will refund money at the end of the month in invalid clicks, they cerainly do monitor multiple clicks from the same ip

if your account is not suss, just send them an email detailing the time/day it happens and ask them to look into it
