OK, Ive got nasty CTR and so far only average $1.50 clicks. Ive heard some ppl getting $3- $3.50 but I cant understand how... Im using some of the highest paying keywords. At least I thought. Does anyone know where I can find a real tool that will searh for "all" of the highest paying terms? Or does it even matter?... Since adword users can set the content network bid (adsense) to anything they want. I mean a company might pay $80 bucks a click on adwords but they know we are out to arbitrage there fore they might purposely set the content network bid very low. For all I know site paying the least on adwords might be paying the most on the content network. Is testing the only way to find out?

The CPC should be considered in relation with the CTR and the traffic you can get.

For instance i have created a website where the average cpc was around 5 $, but the problem was since it was such a specific niche i could not bring in too much targeted traffic and the ads were somehow crappy so the ctr was very poor. Therefore i have chosen to go for a 1 $ average clicks in a niche where it is easier to bring traffic, and ads are more click able. Overall the change increased my earning by 180 %, even if some people might have been thinking that i lost money by going away from such a high paying niche.

Yeah I agree with ya there, If your niche is really targeted and there aren't many people searching for it then you are going to have a harder time trying to convert those visitors. I prefer using a niche that has a broader appeal and thus get more traffic.

i always use less competetive keywords..using keyword elite to make my list.

Are people still making good coin with Adsense? With different cost you can assign to content, new tools for feeding clickbank ads, and after the hugely popular Death of Adsense report, I would figure earnings are plummiting..

Of course people are still making $$$ with adsense, just got to be more creative while following their TOS.

$5 clicks are still out there. I actually used the Google Sandbox Tool to narrow down which ones I aim for.

Hi Guys, l have read all of the posts related to adsense and their keywords value and yes you can still make great money with adsense , the problem with finding the right keywords to target is where most people fall down.. let me explain.....

I use the best tool on the internet for finding adsense keywords and that tool is adsenseacellerator there is no point in me giving you a link to it as it is by invite only , just a few places become available each year.

Now before everyone and his dog start telling me different stop because my results bear out that most people do not access to the real information and thats why they fail to get the right words note l didn't say the most expensive.

With adsense keywords what you have to take in account and know before you use the keywords is the TREND VALUE which means how does the keyword hold up , does it retain its value right down to 8th spot. for example student union consolidation is really expensive in first place more than loan consolidation but by the time it gets to 4th spot student loan has disappeared down to cents whereas loan consolidation holds its value better and therefore thats the better keyword to pick by using the trend but you need access to the information to be able to spot it.

I would suggest to stick to some reatively low paying keywords and increase your content so that people come to your site/sites again and again and you get rewarded by their clicks.Off course you will make more sites in various niches after a careful research.In this way you can get more money and more targeted traffic.Remember high paying keywords attract low traffic volume and low traffic means less money.

You can get $1.50 per click on your site someone else might get 20 cents per click. It all depends on the click through ratio. Google gives the higher paying clicks to sites with decent click through ratios. I have a couple of sites where the click through ratio has been 35% all year. The way I do it is putting little content on each page and putting the three ad limit on each page. Blending the ad with the content as much as possible and letting people click.

when u say little content, what do you mean? 1,2,3 paragraphs or you mean just like 1 article or something per page?

A few paragraphs and an ad or two in between it all. I actually just looked at one of my example sites and I have exactly three paragraphs with 2 different size ads in between them and I have one on the side bar (this site has about 4 pages total with similar structure). On another site I have, I have the ads above and under the paragraphs (also three paragraphs). This site is only one page and links to some of my other sites. The ads are all blended in to match the site.

On site one the click through ratio for the year is 12.85%. On site two the click through ratio is 36.45% for the year.

I guess it also depends on the quality of traffic you receive. All of the traffic to these sites is search engine traffic and highly targeted. The one with the lower click through ratio is the one with the most traffic.

HI, new guy here. My question is how do you make up the cost of paying for domain names and paying monthly for each site? I have just started late in the game with a site building it in yahoo. Can i use different pages in this one website for all the ads i run to avoid paying for 10 sites? Thanks

I look at domain names as investments and I look at hosting as an expense. I buy some domains dirt cheap and whore them out and then I pay premium for others and treat them right.

For your main sites get a VPS or dedicated server (depending on your needs), they are good to have because of the amount of customization and the types of scripts you can run when you have control. For other sites buy cheap reseller accounts. There is tons of cheap hosting out there. I always have multiple reseller accounts as well as accounts on free hosts (with some sort of control panel, minimal if any ad requirements and of course hosts that allow me to use my own domains).

Just remember if you spend your time building up your domains you can re-sell them later so don't look at them as expenses look at them as investments. The one's you don't care about should be the shit domains you pay under $5 for. You can go on ebay, domain forums and pick up domains for $1 or $2 each with a few months left on them.

AdSense is a numbers game. The more domains you have, the bigger your overall profit margin. But, honestly, I don't see how you could lose money (unless you aren't getting any traffic at all).

If you just made $1 per day from AdSense, that's $365 per year. How much does the site cost? I can get a hosting account with unlimited domains for $35 if I use my affiliate link. Each domain (other than the first) costs me $10 per year, so at the cost of $365 per year, I could have 34 sites. And if each of those is making $1 per day, that's $12410 per year. That's a 3400% ROI!

The real key is not how much per click, but how much per day (and, ultimately, per year). And that's determined by how many clicks you get.

For example, if you're getting $1 per click, that doesn't mean much if you're only getting one click per day.

At the same time, if you're only getting 20 cents per click, but you're getting 100 clicks per day, that's 20x what that other guy was getting.

What I'd really like to know (and I will find out) is how to increase CTR. My problem isn't keywords. The problem (not really a problem, per se, but the "challenge") is getting more people to click the ads.

There are still some high paying keywords. I just recently had a $17 click and have had clicks in the upper $20's, but these are very few.

To help with the low earnings per click. Make use of the competing ads (I think that is what it is called). You can use this to block up to 200 low paying and arbitrage sites. Browse your site (dont click) and look at the ads. Get rid of anything that says top10.com, .info domains, and get rid of ebay.com.

To increase the CTR,
- Make sure your ads are above the fold and one of the first things visitors see.
- You want your ads to blend in and look like a part of the site, this means no borders or colors that dont match your site.
- Use click me blue on the title and url, this is what people are used to.
- Use the 336X280 ad block
- Forget about the text links, they require 2 clicks and I have not had much luck with them

You use all domains in one only server? Isn't this dangerous after you only have an IP?

Its hard to tell without seeing your blog.... but make sure your ads are blended and into places where visitors looking at... then build up your content to get more visitors from search engines or find other ways to get traffic.

$2 a day from a blog isnt bad, think about if you could have 10 blogs = $20/day or $600/month.....

but traffic is the key anyway.

Forget about the text links, they require 2 clicks and I have not had much luck with them

I'm pretty sure that's wrong... I'm making decent change with my text links...
