Google Adsense Account, 2 years old

Just purchased an EMD Micro Niche site and am applying Cash202's SEO Strategy. After 1st week and doing 2 cycles on the main keyword I am #8 from originally #63. On 84 impressions, 2 clicks for a 2.38% CTR and 89 cents earnings. So to me this looks promising since it just looks like traffic and SEO can be increased.

I have read a lot of ebooks and used the search function here but can't find the solution. At which point do you cut bait on a site meaning you realize it's not a money maker and you move on?

I had the sites created through another thread here and I loved how they came out so I bought 4 more and now am going to optimize 5 sites total (a lot of outsourcing the larger tasks will be necessary) and the only thing I am finding is some sites hit home runs and other sites won't but it all averages out in the end.

Any personal recommendations?
