When you mouse over the title of the Adsense text link it shows that it forwards the user to Google first, but when clicking the URL it seems that it goes straight to the website.

Can someone confirm if it counts for CPC?

If someone clicks it then yes it will count as a click.

I am pretty sure that if someone click on the url link it counts as a click.
